Literally the whole world thinks it was the funniest roast of all time.  For someone to call them "unfunny comics" makes me question if that person has a pulse.

And maybe you should just watch it rather than piece together a recap from clips, cuz your recap here is highly inaccurate as they torched Tom all night.

I didn't think it was funny. Only speaking for myself. Bledsoe was the only one who seemed to get it right. Everyone else knob slobbed Brady, or took low hanging fruit like Hernandez, etc. Especially gross that his teammates made fun of the guy after so many of them recounted how troubled he was when pressed years later. None of them tried to help, speak up, or intervene. None of them said his name unless they had to and now they do for laughs? Just odd all.

They went back with tired jokes about Monihan, his cheating, Giselle, and recounted good ol days together.

Bledsoe successfully roasted him because it was not over flattering nor was it kind. He is probably the most successful person up there not named Brady.

  2. Giselle bunchen is Also reportedly upset with the roast and how she was handled by the production/(unfunny) comics.

Really, from clips I saw only Bledsoe roasted him truly, appropriately, and in the nature of a roast. A lot of the other schmucks went after everyone else but Tom.

I could be convinced for Lee Evans over Williams.

    Could agree on this.

Spikes may not be on the field every down. London Fletcher, however would be nice.

    If not this two:

Terrell Owens (in his prime, not the Bills prime)

    Jarius Byrd in his prime

If it is the player in their prime (even if it wasn’t with the Bills) it is TO and Mario Williams. If it is their prime had to be with the Bills Moulds and Mario.

No one else but me mentioning Byrd. I am surprised you didn't.

In this defense having a Jairus Byrd is probably bigger than having a MW who took plays off.

I do find that a bit ironic to say they have nothing to do with your life while you actually take time out of your life to defend them and how they should be perceived to other people on a message board.

But now I am honestly just curious where the line is with this way of thinking.  So what about people who shoot up schools and murder kids...because your kid wasn't involved, they get the same "imperfect" should be treated as a "regular guy" defense from you?  Or even say serial killers who didn't kill anyone you know?  Or heck, even the big one...Hitler, if say none of your family was affected?

Well, if you want to be fair: we can describe Tom by someone who knows him well. Go look at Bridget Monihan's tweet about loyalty and take from it what you will given her past comments on Brady.

The second part of your argument falls upon it's own petard; see: Godwin's law.

Wait...are you seriously lumping Brady and OJ into the same "imperfect" category?  Where is this coming from?  A guy who beat his wife long before she got murdered and committed other crimes after the murders deserves to be treated as a regular guy?  The same guy that we all know actually murdered 2 people and got away with it because the prosecution blundered the easiest slam dunk case in history?

There is no world or reality where OJ and Brady should be together in any category, let alone "imperfect".  As someone whose own father was murdered in 1994, there is nothing "imperfect" about a murdering POS.

for someone who has nothing to do with my life - they're in the same catagory.

Dude!  I remember you getting all bent out of shape when I called out OJ for being a POS!  I don't disagree with this post but it's hard to take you seriously after you were going so hard on trying to defend OJ.  Make it make sense my man

Lampanelli and Shumer have both seemed to step aside from the Stand-Up Comedy world for some reason at the moment.  Lampanelli was great but I coudn't stand Amy Schumer.  I also wonder whatever happened to Sarah Silverman, she used to always do the roasts.

But anyways Nikki is definitely the current top dog in female Stand-Up/Roasts at the moment

I don't hold people up on a pedestal and I don't judge people for their sports performances. I don't simply judge. Dude, man. Let Brady be a regular guy who is imperfect. Let OJ Simpson be a regular guy who is in perfect, dude. Because, man, to be honest: neither has a significant impact on your life. Man, dude, man, pal.

It was 3 hours of pure laughter--   I am not a Brady or pats fan but i did like the entertainment and kudos to them for owning the league for almost 20 years.

So you must be very angelic. Everyone has skeletons in the their closet. When I need a laugh-- I may watch it again

I am not at all saying I'm angelic or even close to a good person. The amount of fanfare these athletes get is ridiculous. That they're treated like they're a gift to the human race is annoying, at best.

There have been few good athletes out there who truly deserve the accolades of respect. One such is Jason Brown.

I mean Claypool is a scratch off: bought cheap when the main shopping was done. Getting nothing is not the end of the world and getting anything makes it worth the investment.

For what it's worth, Arthur Moats said in his show that Claypool has at minimum the talent to be Gabe Davis. He certainly had that production in his first two years, but consistency was an issue. His bidding power has been right-sized by 1.5 years with Fields and a half season behind Tyreek Hill and Waddle in the depth chart.

The question is if he knows this is his last chance

Moats has a show? didn't know that. always liked him.

The roast was decent, but it seems we have a lot of secret Brady/Pats fans around here.

it's one thing to respect the mans status as an elite QB but it's another thing to gobble his scrote like he's something more than a sportsball player. for all the good he has done on the field, lets recap the reality of this guy being nothing special:

    1) he left his pregnant girlfriend to hook up with Gizell Bunchen

    2) he pushes fake/weird medicine to people as some sort of pyramid scheme voodoo TB12 plan

    3) he chose to play 1 more year of mediocre football instead of spend time with his family & wife

    4) he cheated multiple times (unnecessarily) in his profession

    5) he treated others poorly as a teammate multiple times and showed poor sportsmanship against opponents multiple times.

Sorry, i do not fanfare ordinary people who throw the ball real good. he's just another 40something year old who had a midlife crisis after knocking up Monihan in my books.

not the same as you killing a hawk.  Cool vid of a donkey guarding a chicken:

you could have a big problem:  The Migratory Bird Treaty Act and state laws make it illegal to kill, capture, possess (actual bird or parts of, including feathers), harass, or harm any bird of prey. Violations are punishable by fines of $5,000 to $250,000 or more, jail sentences, confiscation of possessions, and revocation of licenses.

i worded my statement correctly. also, smart farmers don't directly engage birds of prey. they use other guardian animals to do it for them: donkeys, dogs, and cats.

So I can live with all but coyotes.  I don't have an interest in avidly protecting the others except hawks which are way cool...unless you're raising rabbits.  Oh, and dogs...

Red tail hawks kill chickens, ewes, kids, and other small animals. They're among the worst because they come in quick and devour as much as they can in 30 seconds or less, sometimes the animal is still alive before they leave it. They don't stay long because they're smaller and more likely to be attacked. Hawks and eagles will small livestock at will.

Crows and vultures will also attack dormant animals; fresh calves, kids, ewes, foals, and others that maybe weak rising up

I have no problem killing animals that pose a threat but haven't killed a dog in 10+ years.
