    Come forward?  Bruh.

Not just my opinion, also the stance of NYS law, which provides up to 12 weeks and thankfully provides protections against employers who think as you do.  Having the opinion that any state in this country provides too much parental leave is certainly one of the opinions of all time, and is of course your right as an American to have, as we celebrate the birth of our nation.

Thankfully people are leaving NY in droves.

    Oh c'mon @stevestojan

I'll probably be one of the first to text Kirby congratulations on this. Let me bust his chops. Lol

I dont see any (or many) folks condemning or passing judgement on Hairston here. Certainly no one saying he should be cut or in jail. I see waaayyy more people calling the girl all sorts of names and going after her character, wanting her to be counter-sued, etc.

No one waiting for any substantiation on that.

And given what we've just seen in the Diddy trial, where he was acquitted on most charges EVEN WITH multiple witnesses, piles of physical evidence, video tape, etc... it just shows how almost impossible stuff like this is to convict.

Perfect and timely example of how difficult it is for victims of this sport of stuff to ever get justice.

almost 1 out of every 3 women have been SA'd. from anywhere from a grope and feeling up all the way to grape.

that men, mostly whom are naive to this because they are not the type to do it, refuse to acknowledge this is amazing.

We have 2 ebikes, a family bike that can carry the kid and some cargo and a single rider, small capacity bike (usually for me).

The family bike is just "pedal assist" and gets you up to 20mph pretty quickly, but that's where the assist tops out so you'd have to be going downhill to go faster. The single is a Class II and has a throttle and goes up to 28mph.

They are definitely way more bike than motorcycle.

I get the craze because these things are great for the family to get around the city, and helps us 40-somethings relive our youthful days of the 90s.

But what gets me is the amount of families I see riding these things with NO HELMETS.

I'm a cusp GenXer and grew up before the helmet craze so never wore one growing up, and wasnt a huge fan of the idea going into it. But now, with so much to lose, and how dangerous it can be out on the streets with drivers... It blows my mind that people arent wearing them. I saw a family go by the other day, mom and 2 kids on back, zero helmets...

I dont see people getting too crazy on them since we have pretty decent bike infrastructure in the city (Atlanta). Bike lanes almost everywhere we want to go, etc.

    But folks, WEAR A HELMET.

As for kids riding the ebikes or electric scooters, no one under 16 should be operating these things on their own. It's more dangerous than being in a car.

100% with you on the helmet. If going outside the neighborhood I may wear a helmet. But on the trails with my hardtail I always wear my helmet.

I'd have never considered it 20 years ago but have taken some major spills and gone over the handbars a lot more than I used to despite being a better driver.

Where does the Spandex Mafia stand on this?

New ebikes, including mountain bikes, are quite expensive but can also be chipped & modded to go over 40mph as allowed motor engaged. This isn't all that fast for bikes considering road bikes can and regularly hit 40mph on flat land.

I think @Bill from NYC nailed it. Though not a full acquittal, but acquitted on the serious charges that carried mandatory minimums and convicted on the lesser charge.

the prosection recommending 51-60 months. I'm guessing the judge gives him less than that.

He may walk with time served or a lighter sentence than the prosecutor is recommending further reduced by good behavior, prison labor etc. In Florida you typically only serve 85% less work and other things prisoners can do to reduce time

The legal system is a fascinating machine when you really examine it.

If I'm him I get out and move overseas immediately. Thailand, for example.

I've reread this several times trying to understand it. Based on your sources, it's definite we have one game at the Ralph in 2026. That one seems clear.

Then you say 'if they don't meet their goals in 2025....'  Is that construction goals? Because the next 2 lines sound like the Bills' goals. I don't see how the Bills success has anything to do with construction progress, if that's what that means.

The last line really confuses me. Does that mean with any luck we get 4 more games at the Ralph in 2026?

The Bills goals are to play 3 games in 2026 in the Ralph. They could fall short of their goals and still play 3. Best case scenario the Bills want is 3 games in the Ralph next year.

    Make any more sense?

Yeah if the "Bills Kid" doesn't show, I'm asking for a refund.

I mean seriously, this looks pretty awful. It would be cool to get autographs from the rookies I suppose, but half of those people I can see at Hammers lot on a Sunday and have a beer with them for free.

Who tf is bills kid? His parents should be slapped for doing that.

Unless they schedule the first 6 games on the road!

I'm telling you ... The bills will play at home, at least 1 game. If they don't meet their goals for 2025 it'll be 3 total games.

One game for sure, I'm told will be home against the Jets. If we fail to meet our objective and win the AFC we will have to play 2 more games in the Ralph.

With any luck we meet our goals to get 4

TY.  I've always said, if I wrote well enough, I'd write a book, or at least an essay, of how well she handled her illness and death.

But really, my "grief theme song" was Garth Brooks-The Dance. It fits with the theme of the thread.

I could have missed the pain,

but I'd have missed the dance.

I shudder thinking I'd could have missed that dance.

    Now....

back to our regularly scheduled collection of sad song dance music!

I will cry to this song because of a friends suicide. Sad and mad, happy and resentful, glad I knew him but wished I never did. It wasn't fair but it's what he chose. I'll never get over it.

It's true and no one believes me. They say I'm wrong. But I say they don't have the elite level sources and jealous of me

From what I understand there will be at least 1 game in Highmark next year but sources reveal it's possible to be as many as 4 before the move to the new stadium.

What were George Jones' last words before he died?
"We were standing at the foot of the bed and George just hasn't said nothing, and all of a sudden, he opened his eyes, and I was fixin' to go toward him, and the doctor kind of held me back," Nancy said. She recounts his final words as: "Well hello there. I've been looking for you. My name's George Jones."

She believes he was speaking to God and that he had gone to heaven

    This is the only answer.

How the White House works….  You don’t like the news?  You say a loser leaked it and it was fake news. Seems like how the most influential country in the world should communicate.  I’ve never seen a more brainwashed group eat up every absurd thing that comes out of this demented administration.   A country ran with no advisors and intelligence and a devoted base that thinks everyone intelligent is an arrogant crook thus some dumb ***** tweeting all day is the truth.

Were you born 5 months ago or are you just dishonest?
