  1. When's the last time Roscoe figured so positively into the passing game? I was excited to see him used so heavily, like Spiller he's a game breaker. That's nothing new. But why do we seem to keep drawing up plays for him to catch the ball while standing still? You NEVER see Welker catch the ball unless he's on the run, that's what leads to his huge YAC. Now that Fitz must have some confidence in #11, I'd love to see some crossing stuff or whatever it takes to get him the ball in full stride. Look out!!!
  2. So it's 11am on a Sunday in September and I'm almost dreading kick-off. When is the last time we felt this hopeless this soon?? I know it was bad right before Bledsoe, but this may just be a historically terrible Bills team. It could all change, but through 2 games does anyone see any legitimate reasons to believe this team can pull it together and achieve.... mediocrity? My prediction: 3-13. Tell me why I'm wrong. Go Bills!
  3. His 2nd Quarter decapitation at the hands of Aaron Maybin will reduce his value. You might want to trade him now! (Note: only possible if Brady scrambles and goes out of bounds on the Bills sideline - that's where Maybin makes his living...)
  4. Dear Wall Posters, Seriously? We're comparing Maybin to these other players and claiming Maybin is weighing in at 250? The guy looks like a cornerback. Granted, very defined musculature, but COME ON!!! He's probably 220 soaking wet. Bruce Smith is being used as the past precedent for undersized linemen. Bruce came up 25 years ago and played at what - 250-260? And that's in a smaller NFL. Maybe we should try Maybin at RB, I hear that's a position of need? Still, Go Bills!!
  5. I noticed the same play watching the game last Sunday. While it's true the Bills have plenty of other weaknesses, and while it's true that Ryan Fitzpatrick is not the next franchise QB, it's also true that getting Trent out of the mix will be a HUGE boost to our hopes. That's not to say we will beat New England, in fact, we will likely get trounced. But it should at least allow us to win 5-6 games this year... And keep us from getting 'Luck'y in April. The goal for me these days is that Sundays provide some drama and entertainment. So I'm excited that we have a chance to be in some games and who knows - stranger things have happened, haven't they? Maybe not. But regardless, my motto is unchanged - GO BILLS!!!!!!!
  6. The more hungry guys we have in camp, and eventually on the roster, the better. Think Peters pre-contract. No downside and the ROI could be tremendous. On that note, I'm pretty hungry too... Put me out there!
  7. Agreed! So he won't sell tickets, but bring him in and see what happens. If he sucks (probably the case...) then cut him in training camp. We can't lose on this! Something about his cannon arm and Evans deep balls makes me think twice about saying no Culpepper.
  8. Trent Dilfer?? Matt Hasselbeck is well thought of. THAT IS IMPORTANT!!! We can't attract legit free agents, coaches, etc. until we have a QB that commands respect. No one would argue that Edwards/Fitz/Brohm don't do that. Buddy - get him in here!!!
  9. If anyone knows bathroom material, it's Mr. Whitner. He has to watch the film... We're lucky, we only have to watch his crappy play once a week!
  10. I didn't leave the time zone until high school... But come on! The game's at 3pmEST. Miller Time!!!
  11. I would submit that while Duff's is indeed head and shoulders better than the Anchor Bar for wings, the best place in Buffalo is the Shannon Pub... NF Blvd! Try it out, I bet you'll agree.
