  1. Pete...there will always be holdouts...But for the most part, you're Preaching to the Choir now...

    It's just a matter of time Brother...Probably the 31st vs. Arizona... B)

Get well JP! Anyways its nice to watch a good offense. KC is shredding up that feared Ravens defense. Problem is the Chiefs defense is so porous that even Kyle Boller can carve them up

  2. The Pats line is one of the best in the whole NFL. Richard Seymour, Vince Wilfork, Ty Warren, and Dana Stubblefield are all first round picks. Marquise Hill is a great DE. Keith Traylor is a very solid NT. Mcginest rushes from the DE and OLB position. Anyways could you please answer my followup question. Our oline played great for 3 quarters. How come the offense only put up 10 points?

  3. Its like a mad lib- The Bills loss against the Jets today was not Drews fault because_________sucked and ______dropped the ball and_______did not block well and ________did not coach well__________did not run well but Drew would of put more points on the board IF________he could of ________would of_______

  4. Are there any other 'standard' reasons for a poor offensive performance this

    weekend?

We already know he has the worst line and running game ever according to the

Drew supporters, maybe the balls will be smaller than regulation

You know the standard reason- well besides "the oline sucks" and "travis sucks" and the "wide receivers suck"

    We failed to execute

BTW I think the offensive line kicked ass until they suffered injurys. Funny our offense only put up 10 points even with solid oline play for 3 quarters

  5. History repeats itself. If you dont know your past you dont know your future. Drew has always had the same criticisms. People do not realize that when he was in New England Pats fans thought the WRs were not good enough and the oline sucked. That was until Drew was replaces by Tom Brady and now they have not lost for 366 days with pretty much the same team.

  6. Great post! I disagree with Jonas- he is our best linemen. Call me crazy but I see potential with our line and dont think they have played that poorly. I think what our offense needs more then anything(well besides JP) is a kick ass TE. One who could block or be a safety valve for our QB.

  7. I watched the first half and some of the third quarter then had to go to work. When I left for work Travis had 56 yards on 12 carries and Drew had all day to throw. That was against a very talented and very deep offensive line coached by Belichick with all sorts of blitzes. I was impressed and saw alot of positives by our oline play. Sounds like once Jonas and Teague were hurt it fell apart but they played great in the first half. Seems like they are starting to gel- maybe the problem is not the oline afterall.<duck> Was I seeing things or didn't the oline look great in the first half?

  8. We obviously need help at S but help is on the way once Lawyer gets healthy. I say let Coy or Baker play there in the mean time-let them get some experience. As for the offensive line I only got to see the first half and part of the third quarter of the game yesterday(I had to work). From what I saw the line played great! Travis had 56 yards on 12 carries when I left. Bledsoe had all day to pass. I think the line is fine. <duck> It seems when the injuries happened they fell apart. Whos line would not deteroriate if they lost their starting LT and C? Most everyone knows my thoughts on Drew. I say play Mathews now. What is the worst case scenerio? If Shayn can put some points on the board it should become obvious to everyone what our offensive problem is. Start JP as soon as he is 100% healthy. Travis is a solid RB and should be starting. Lets get WM into the game more. I like the idea of using Willis in short yardage. I remember his 4 TD scrimmage earlier this year

  9. OK so that means he is better then about half the league then????

Is that what you wanted to point out?

First of all 18 is 56% of 32. Second of all- reading comprehension. Chad Pennington does not have 1500 attempts. Nor does David Carr. Brian Leftwich. Joey Harrington. JP Losman. Rex Grossman. Ben Rothesnberger. Michael Vick. Carson Palmer. Eli Manning. Mark Bulger. Jake Delhome. There is 11 QBs better then Drew off the top of my head. 11+18 = 91% of the league having better QBs and that is just off the top of my head.

  10. Bledsoe’s career passer rating of 76.8 ranks 18th among active quarterbacks with 1,500 career attempts.

Bledsoe’s numbers in seven career postseasons games are dreadful: 129 for 252, 1,335 yards, 6 TDs, 12 INTs, and a passer rating of 54.9

  11. Apology Billsfanone? You called me a liar. When you are done apologizing do you mind addressing my post. I reiterate- Darrell Jackson led the NFL in drops last year with 12, Koren Robinson was second in the NFL in drops with 10. Despite this Hassleback still took his team to the playoffs, passed for 26 TDs and had an 89 QB rating. Why does Hassleback not need "what if" posts? See what a good QB is capable of?

  12. Come on man, the NFL doesn't keep a dropped pass stat. Nice try.  :(

Where did you get that from? I want to see a link.

you truly are a jackass. Try google- lets see second hit-

    SLIPPERY HANDS

Plaxico Burress has endured recent criticism for dropped passes, much of it deserving. But it turns out he isn't close to being the worst offender in the AFC. In fact, one of his Pro Bowl teammates is equally unreliable at snaring catchable balls.

The Web site sport.excite.com has compiled a list of NFL leaders in dropped passes. Burress has four and is tied for ninth in the conference with 10 players, including teammate Hines Ward.

Travis Taylor of the Baltimore Ravens leads the AFC with eight, and the Seattle Seahawks' Darrell Jackson leads the NFL with 12.

STATS, Inc., reports that the Steelers have 18 total drops, tied with the Atlanta Falcons for 10th in the league.

  13. That would be fine if he were not performing, however he is performing. Drew has had many many dropped balls and has still made enough plays for this team to win every game this year. I think he has exceeded my expectations which were pretty low from the outset. Sitting by and letting the "Bledsoe Sucks" propoganda machine take over without a fight is not my style. Especially seeing how many other players have sabotaged them during this 0-3 slide. Henry, Moulds and Reed have all played their positions worse than Bledsoe has played his. There's no excuse for dropping ball's or falling down. I still think this team is on the verge of what they produced when Bledsoe first got here. Thanks to finally getting a real threat in the name of Lee Evans.

The two leaders in dropped passes last year were Darryl Jackson and Koren Robinson yet Matt Hassleback still managed to throw for 26 TDs and have an 89 rating. Every QB has dropped passes. Some produce regardless, one other needs what ifs and could of, should of, would ofs.
