why bring him in? b/c our D coord comes from MIA and knows if he can play now or not! plus, we are converting to a 3-4 and this guy can easily be a situational player in the 3-4 for us....(of which we have few natural 3-4 players or guys who are familiar with the 3-4)...plus, he brings attitude. adding him and incognito and we won't lose to NE just b/c they have Pats unis on.

Are injuries really the risk now though? Edwards is fragile and Fitzy is merely a stop gap. McNabb would be 33. Bradford and McKoy are coming off injuries. Tebow hasn't taken snaps under center and has a slow release. Lefevour is a project with plenty of questions. Clausen showed up at Notre Dame in a limo and promised 4 Natl Titles. Last I checked, that didn't happen. I vote Brohm and a rookie and Brohm will start.

Fair, but premature. So the kid was beaten out for the BACKUP role to Rodgers b/c Flynn was more prepared to be in that role. Neither guy was going to play unless Rodgers got hurt. Flynn has good tools for that role after having played starting QB the year prior at LSU. It wasn't like Flynn was/is a bum. Brohm will get a chance this offseason and I bet he is better prepared and gets a legit shot for once. The O-Line will be much better this upcoming season.

Yep, I value accuracy #1 assuming the QB has at least decent arm strength...the top QBs today have incredible accuracy and quick releases (impt) --> Manning, Rivers, Brady, Brees - all known for accuracy and getting the ball out of their hands on time. Brohm has those qualities.

Brohm started in 33 career games while appearing in 11 other games at Louisville as a true freshman. Brohm’s career completion percentage is an obscene 65.8%, well above the baseline for NFL success. He has maintained his production in two different offenses, despite inconsistent play at the wide receiver spot (aside from Harry Douglas) and a revolving door at RB due to injuries. Many underestimate Brohm’s arm strength and natural athleticism because he does everything so easily. He was an elite recruit who has deceptive athleticism that he uses to escape the pocket and make plays down the field. While his arm strength may not be at the elite level of Chad Henne or Joe Flacco, it is certainly above average. He is one of the more accurate QBs in the draft and his understanding of the game is unrivaled. He scored well on the intellect test...is a smart kid...has now been groomed for 3 yrs....I think he wins the job no matter who we draft to be honest.

additionally, none of those three guys is 6'3" and 230 ... Brohm is the prototype. I also have seen him throw and read elsewhere that he has a strong arm and can make all the throws.

Oh, I like Bradford as well. Redskins pick ahead of us and have ties to him with their surgeon on staff (also his surgeon)...if they pass on him that tells me they think his health might be risky?

We shall see if he is given a legit chance...why not? He is better than the college crop and the avail free agent crop IMO.

Agreed. This is thinking outside the box and I think we have some true sleepers on this roster and potentially Ellis is #1 sleeper/project. He has a chance and isnt a converted safety. We might actually hit some folks and DICTATE what they do for once! I am calling it now. Bills make the playoffs this year. Have a feeling.
