I've watched a LOT of Orton. The dude is a good QB. He's never played on a team with the talent we have. This is going to be good...I promise.

That's his other stuff. Those ballsy plays are what takes him to 7-9 instead of 4-12.
100% true.
And while it doesn't count for anything in games Fitz is man enough to not go to the podium and say 'I did good' when he didn't. I want to puke watching EJ play. I'm sooo done with the guy. He has ZERO redeemable traits as a player.

I would love to know how he's gutless when he takes a beating all game long from knockdowns and still keeps playing. Easy to talk this nonsense on an internet discussion forum. Would like to know how many here could withstand constant poundings from NFL defensive linemen. Most likely zero.
He's gutless because on a play action bootleg he'll always go to the flat even if there's a guy further open downfield. The dude sucks. He doesn't play inspiring football and I question his toughness.

Look....I love Fitz....would take him as a backup QB in a heartbeat.....
but they did NOT win the game because of him....christ he was actually giving us a chance at the end of the game and our own not ready QB couldnt make him pay for it.
Right...but I respected him. I have zero respect for EJ. He's as gutless as Trent.

F' him, the guy was signed for millions of dollars and then he crapped the bed for the Bills and their fans. That pre game speech angers me because I seriously don't know why this failure, who was given so much money for so little in return, is the one who's pissed at the team that gave him all that money and set him and his family up for the rest of his life. His anger apparently comes from a misguided fairy tale of epic proportions inside his head.
I'd try to reason with you but I'm not sure I can...
I'll say this though, OBD should have waited till seasons end to resign Fitz. And with that said, NEVER did I think we lost a game because Fitz wasn't giving it his all. NEVER.
Fitz taking huge hits running for first downs and throwing up blocks on end arounds was vintage Fitz. Just incredible stuff.
Fitz might occasionally throw to wide open defenders but he's not gutless, he's not a check down artist, and the mans got balls... And he has better accuracy than EJ. Think about that! We got rid of Fitz because he didn't have the arm talent and used a first round pick on a guy with less arm talent. EJ has a stronger arm but less arm talent.

He wasn't going to lose. Not this game. Not to this coach or his inferior replacement. He has more than his share of bad moments but the mans as tough as they come and lays it all out on the field. He doesn't play gutless and he's accountable. He's probably not in the 20 best QBs but he's better than our current starter and he flat out brings it.

I really think one of the linemen should've done a little enforcing after JJ's shots at EJ's knee... I know this isn't hockey but you don't let that go
JJ Watt is a classy guy and he doesn't need to take EJs knees out to mentally destroy EJ. I reject that Watt was intentionally trying to hurt EJ. Had he actually hurt EJ though we'd have won the game.

That is the question. EJ is making the right reads. He is seeing the open guy most of the time. He is just not delivering the ball accurately too often. He looks better than last year but still not good enough.
I just don't know if experience and time improves accuracy.
Just stop...there's no fixing EJ.

No it doesn't feel "terrific". But I won't apologize for telling everybody EJ sucks and being right. If I believe something I'll say it. And not just to hear myself talk either...I honestly believe in fan pressure and with a better option at QB on the bench I want the front office to feel pressure. The more fan discontent with EJ the more likely we are to see Orton. The quicker we see Orton the more wins we'll get.
Now I will say it was tiring stating the obvious for so long and having people tell you that you're stupid for not recognizing the franchise savior that is EJ.

This was the first game of the year I put on EJ.....and I mean it was SQUARELY on EJ........

Go to the BBMB and tell the The_Dude says 'I warned you all and you wouldn't listen!' Also ask them if they remember how I was preaching that we needed to trade the farm to get Bortles and they all laughed at me. And tell them...tell them I said "F*** you, I was right, as per usual." Tell them.

I was thinking that the other day...honestly, not being a smart ass, how many did EJ throw last year and hit dirt on? EJ couldn't even throw an accurate bubble screen.
