The one I posted here last week was the best I had ever seen, a fella was monitoring the whole game feed to keep everything as close to being perfect as possible, it was like watching your TV, just to bad the game itself wouldn't have been better to watch.
Better than the guy who had a web-cam pointed at his 1980 TV set showing the Packers game?

The biggest thing to me is not suing some fan, but how they completely lie about this huge "50,000 person" waiting list or whatever it is for season tickets?!? Anyone who has been to that god-awful mostrosity of a stadium in the last several yrs knows there are gobs of empty seats. I can get tickets to any game in 5 minutes for nearly face value. That waiting list is a total myth in an attempt to create false demand and pretend to keep the ticket values high. There might be small one for excellent - lower bowl-sideline seats, but not for the vast majority of the stadium. The CLub level is way too pricey for most people. They've been secretly trying to sell off mediocre or crummy locations on Stubhub to fill the place.
Interesting. Now this makes sense.

Why don't the ticket holders in danger of default just re-sell their tickets to one of the 10,000 to 20,000 people still on the waiting list? I'm sure that they could recoup most if not all of their money and still hold onto the ticket rights for when times turn around economically. They could probably use the $$$ right now anyway.
Just put an ad in the paper. I'm sure that there will be lots of offers.

First, Schobel would not have started the last game if he were to be cut. Second,
if he's not in the Bills plans, he'd be traded first. He's not going to be cut or traded.
My "surprise" cut? Walker. Not this week, but as soon as Bell is healthy. Only a surprise
as he was expected to take over the LT position, and did a fairly good job last season when
Peters was a no show.
There are not enough experienced linemen on the roster to do it this season, but I agree with you about this. He will be gone by opening game next season unless he plays well at LT.

It looks like Marshall has been watching guys like Cutler and Peters. If you are loud, whiny, childish and self centered enough you will eventually be traded to a contender and get a new big $ contract. Apparently, the Jets have been watching too.

Why not Stupar in instead of Nelson?
I was actually thinking of Nelson as a wide out in goal line situations, not as a traditional TE. I would probably use Stupar as the blocking TE in a 3 wide alignment. He probably needs to alternate with Schouman for the first few games until he establishes that he is better against starting caliber opponents.

We really like our practice squad and how they practice. The QB does a great job of running our scout team and giving our other three QBs a rest in practice. I like our 4 DBs and how they run to the football. They play hard and study hard and give our other 10 DBs a rest so they will have fresh legs on Sunday.

I would like to see them play T.O , Evans , Reed ( mainly for short zone throws) and Johnson . Mix in Roscoe and Nelson in the Red zone.
I notice during the Steelers game that the refs were taking their time with spot the ball after plays.

That sounds about right. TO, Evans and Reed, obviously, but I would alternate between Parrish, Johnson and Nelson depending on play call and field position, and sometimes we need to go with 3 and a TE to have a more legitimate run threat.'
If the Bills want the ball spotted quicker, they should run it to the ref in the middle of the field like Steve Tasker suggested in one of their preseason games. I think that a quick pace to the no-huddle is key. I just can't see TE trying to organize the players and call a play at the LOS on the road in NE. They need to come to the line and go, otherwise they'd be better off huddling, IMO.

offensively speaking, I also would think it would be wise to use a lot of 2 TE formations. It's our first game of the year against arguably the best team in the NFL, we have a very inexperienced offensive line, and I think it would be prudent to run the ball and give max protection to our QB. Hopefully if Trent has enough time, you would think that T.O and Evans should have a good chance at getting open.
I would hope to use the No - huddle as a supplemental part of the offense, to either try to get things going or keep them off balanced. I imagine we will not use the No huddle as our base offense.
I think the most important thing we can do is try to establish the run game, be somewhat effective with possession passes and mix in some deeper passes.
To me this would make the most sense.
I wouldn't do this. I say, put your best players on the field. That doesn't include 2 TEs, which is probably one of our weakest positions. I would play a ton of 3 and 4 WR (where we are deep) and try and manage the pass rush with quick passes, runs, screens, etc. Look at Arizona's offense from last year. I know they had Warner, but they didn't have much of a O-line either. I would also run the no-huddle much more as a hurry-up to really put some pressure on the defense to simplify their schemes and declare what they're doing. Jim Kelly always said that the no-huddle worked best when they were working at a quick pace and he may know a thing or two about the no-huddle.

I think it's more of confidence in Buggs being the backup MLB.
Buggs has been an aminal in the pre-season. He's earned a spot on the roster, IMO.

I hate when they mention the weather in November and December. The only weather that make it very difficult to throw the ball is when it is windy and that can happen in any month. I have been to many games in winter where passing is not a problem. Anyone remember Buffalo 44 Miami 34? I was thinking the same thing. Good thing that nobody told Jim Kelly that you can't pass in Buffalo...

If Bell can play LT, and that is a big if. I am not saying he can't, but have not seen enough out of him yet. But then your starting line is
LT -BELL
LG-WOOD
C-Hangartner
RG-Butler
RT- Walker
Levitre is first off the bench for anyone getting hurt interior wise. With Wood sliding into the center if Hangartner gets hurt.
Longterm your line is(when i say longterm i mean for 2010 and 2011).
LT-Bell
LG- Levitre
C-Woods
RG-Butler
RT-Walker
This would help you have a good young left side of the oline for years. If Butler can stay healthy he is solid and so is Walker.
There are just way to many variables at this point to definitively evaluate who the best linemen are and what position they should be playing.
- Can Butler stay healthy? Can he play RT? For that matter, can he develop into a dominating RG? He was just average at RG last season.
- Can Bell play LT?
- Can Walker play LT? People have written him off, but the season hasn't even started yet. I think that he needs to be given a few games at LT to see how he does. Can Walker be a dominating RT? He was just sightly above average last season, IMO.
- Will Woods become a good interior lineman? Can he play center in this league?
- Will Levitre become a good interior lineman?
- Is Hangartner a good center? People seem to want to move him immediately to the bench, but he hasn't even played a regular season game for the team yet. Why not see how he does first?
Until some of these questions get answered, it's going to be a rotating mess on the line. I think that it'll be at least through this season before some of these things are worked out.

Some of it might of been the RBs
some of it might have been the QBs
But on the Fitz sack 76 of the Steelers Pushed both Wood and Seth Mckinne right back into the QB also Chambers was trampled - on the bright side Scott and Levitra both did a good, I guess it could have been worst.
The Bills Oline Blocking seems very passive - they start backing up the second the ball is snapped and try to catch the DEs and DTs- I've noticed other Olines that initially go forward to meet the Dline and then slowly give ground - I wonder if the Oline is taught very passive techniques? any Oline experts out there.
The pass blocking set ups depend on the play called. In general, linemen back up more to form a pocket on deeper QB drops for slower developing passes and stay closer to the line for quick plays and play action passes, often firing out and cutting ends to prevent them from batting the quick passes. Linemen should never "catch" defensive players, however. Once they get back to their position they should be physical with the pass rushers.

The question then would be what do you do with Walker?
I would move him to Right Tackle........ He is pretty good there ...
I would then move Brad Butler to Right Guard...making the right side of the line much stronger
I would move Wood to Left Guard .....
Keeping Handgartner where he is at Center.....
Again this is a complete change on the Offensive Line but would be a upgrade....
Once Bell takes over at Left Tackle he could be a fixture there for years...
I would not dismiss this idea.......
But this would still keep the O-line pretty young and shaky till they learn to play together........The talent is there.
They just have to put it all together.......The right side of the line would be much more dependable.
It will be the learning curve of Wood and Bell that will be important.......Both of those players have raw talent...
So, change every position except center midseason? Something tells me that won't work out very well...
If Bell looks like the best LT, I would just play him at LT and move Walker to the bench. If Butler is injured or not playing well, I can see moving Walker to RT and Butler to the bench but I would not mess with the interior line positions.

Ramius I'm sure glad I'm not the only one who watched the O-line get blown off the line of scrimmage because I was beginning to wonder if I may have watched the wrong game, everyone on the offense looked like sh#t.
Marshawn is one person who didn't play that bad, not as bad as everyone else anyway.
No, you watched the right game all right. The Bills offense stunk, line and all. In fact, I think that the line was the worst part of it. No running lanes and poor pass protection. It's tough to excel under those conditions.
It's ok though, come September 14 the Bills will kick it into high gear like a formula one race car. They're just saving themselves...

The Bills will gets their hats handed to them by the Pats in the opener, struggle early but rally late in the season to finish with 6 or 7 wins. Jauron will be fired along with most of his staff. Ralph will bring in a new GM to run the football side of things. The new coach will not be Cowher, Shottenheimer or Haslett.

Stoud and Williams have quietly had a very good preseason. With Poz playing much better, I think that the middle of the Bills run defense is a strong as it's been since big Pat left many moons ago.

That idea, having long since been dead, can't be killed again thus, this latest embarassment constitues mutiliation of the corpse which is the idea that the Chiefs are a well-run organization rather than the killing of it.
I know, its quibbling but I do so love to quibble.
Be careful about throwing stones (people in glass houses and all that...) The Chiefs have a better record and more playoff appearances that the Bills over the last 10 years. They also have won a Super Bowl.
