Is medical marijuana even allowed under a medical waiver in the NFL?

Again, he should probably retire bc the rules are what they are. Im not sure if he applied for a medical exemption or if he didnt. Either way, i still think its important to keep the human aspect of this story in perspective. The guy has a serious struggle. And he doesnt have a sedentary job which further complicates matters. To call the guy out as just another pothead or lazy is a tad unfair.

I kinda feel for the guy. I know someone with Crohns and it can be brutal. The fact that he has Crohn's and is an elite athlete is a testament to his fortitude and will to succeed.

When i see this offense i see a good overall offense. Ive said that numerous times throughout the year. There is no doubt that injuries have limited our explosiveness to a certain extent this year. You not seeing a top 10 offense is up to you. If you think theyre avg or even below avg thats up to you. A lot of people believe in a lot of different things in this world and its tiring to argue. And im not fudging some odd stat to try and prove a point. The stat is as simple, logical, and as unadulterated as it can get.

The Defense has shown glimpses of being pretty darn good. We need Dareus to stay on the field, Shaq to progress, and Gilmore/Darby to continue to step up their game. KW and Brown are having awesome years.

I agree regarding the underachievement of the defense. Theyre certainly not horrible but they just have been a bit of a letdown overall so far since the regime change. I think mostly everyone expected the defense to carry the offense the majority of the time and though they have certainly carried the offense numerous times, the majority of the time they havent. To reiterate the most telling number over the past 26 games: we are 7-7 when we score more than 25 points. During the same stretch the Chiefs are 11-1 when they score 25pts or more. Not saying we should be 12-2 in those games but putting up +25 we should have a solid winning record like 10-4 over those 14 games. Again thats the difference between a .500 team and a playoff team.

I 100% agree with you but again the offense is just 1/3 of an NFL team. The difference between a team like the Chiefs and the Bills for example? In the last 26 games the Bills have put up 25 or more points 14 times. We are 7-7 in those 14 games. The Chiefs have put up 25 or more points 12 times during the same stretch. They are 11-1 in those games. That my friends is the difference between playoffs and .500.

I agree that has been a consistent problem. We can never seem to have all 3 facets working together. Games the offense looks real good the defense stinks it up. Games where the defense looks real good the offense throws a stinker. I still think the arrow is in the right direction. Lets get healthy.

No we're out of the top 10 over the past 26. If i recall we're middle of the pack or low teens. Also, 6 of our 10 games this season have been against top 10 defenses in pts/game. There is some more "context". Seahawks #1 Patriots #3 (twice) Ravens #5 Rams #5 tied with ravens Cardinals #10

The larger the sample size the more statistically significant it is. To sit here and boo hoo a sample size of 26 games is ridiculous. Lets try and figure out how many points fhe Bills score when its sunny compared to "better teams" while we're at it.

Or maybe we scored 30 one week and lost bc the other team scored 35?
