  1. So to recap, Tyrod over the last two seasons had more TD's per game, less turnovers, a better completion %, a better QB rating than Big Ben's 5th and 6th years in the NFL; Tyrod's total yardage would've been right there with Big Ben too if he played 2 more games, since Big Ben had 2 more games played during that stretch.
  2. Big Ben's 5th and 6th year combined stats: 7,812 total yards (rushing and passing); 7,629 passing; 47 total TD's; 37 turnovers; 62.6 completion %; 90.3 rating Tyrod Taylor: 7206 total yards, 6058 passing yards, 47 total tds, 37 passing tds, 12 ints, 94.5 rating, 62.7 comp % Tyrod played two fewer games*****
  3. Compare Big Bens numbers his 5th and 6th yr in the NFL to TT's last two. Do it. Be surprised.
  4. TT "only" had 23 TD's this year: that ranks him middle of the pack in the NFL for total TD's scored through 15 games. Not elite, certainly not bad, definitely not worth you qualifying it with "only". You saying EJ "almost averaged" as much is laughable, why even go there?. If being top ten in scoring over a 2 year span can be done by "anyone", when was the last time the Bills ranked top 10 in scoring over a two year period? 20 years ago? Jim Kelly era? Were you even born yet?
  5. Yeh. Like most of us have been saying. This has been one of the weirdest off seasons so far for the Bills. I have to admit the level of noise and conflicting reports is astounding.
  6. How can they not afford it? The skins cap situation is excellent.
  7. I like you just dont get it. Whaley spent 5 minutes talking abouy how "close" we are. How we were almost there vs the Seahawks and the Raiders (and I agree actually). So logically being that close we blow everything up? Billsy.
  8. Nobody does trash like the NY POST
  9. unless we're trading for Romo, this is a huge mistake. We have a good offense. Fix the defense. No need to blow everything up.
  10. I havent given up on Cardale at all but what is there to say? Wasnt active all year until week 17 and then week 17 he plays bc EJ has an abomination of a game. Cardale throws 11 passes vs a defense that mailed it in about 8 weeks ago. Not much to say at all other than we'll see. Im fine with going into next season with Cardale as the backup (competing for starting job).
  11. I just want to know the following? How can some Bills fans have so much hatred towards a GM that has never had full authority during his time here? Breaking it down at the basic level, why is everyone going crazy? Rex was fired. Thats a good thing. Great guy, but it didnt work. TT not playing the final week and avoiding further injury. Thats a good thing. EJ showing he doesnt deserve to be on the Bills. Thats a good thing. TT getting surgery ASAP. Thats a good thing. im actually feeling pretty good right now and excited to see who we'll hire at HC and how we'll fix the defense. The over-analysis of what people said and what they really meant by it is at an all-time level of insanity on here.
  12. Its nobody's fault imo. Tt played his ass off and got injured. The Bills werent 100% sold on TT but liked him enough to offer him this team friendly deal. Contrary to what people want to complain about is that it IS team friendly. The injury clause secures TT personally in case they cut him and he cant pass a physical for another team. Everyone wins.
  13. I suppose. But we already knew it was a second opinion as it had already been reported. And opted means the same as elected and/or chose. The only difference being the "late last night" comment. But if they were notified late last night who cares one way or another. This injury isnt news. The Bills have known about it for weeks. Are we assuming that late last night didnt afford the Bills an opportunity to do something? And what would that something be? Bc thats the implication im assuming - that he didnt give them ample notification? Lol. I just dont follow the inquisition into the wording. If he notified them late last night then thats what happened factually.
  14. Im fine with the statement. Its factually correct. And theres nothing wrong with TT having the surgery. Everything else is just noise generated by people who have an agenda one way or another. Imo
  15. We've probably seen the same wording literally hundreds of times in sports. At the end of the day you always "elect" to have surgery. Nobody can be physically forced into having surgery lol. Therefore the phrase "elected to have surgery" doesnt automatically imply anything other than the obvious. If we're talking semantics here, we can go around in circles for hours. Its kinda silly. This reminds me of teenagers that receive a 5 word txt from some boy/girl they really like and analyze the $h*t out of those 5 words for possible hidden meaning RIDICULOUS.
  16. Well put. I think Dareus likes to sit on the sofa though.
  17. Crystal. For people who believe in alien abductions however, TT is faking the injury and paid off a medical expert to cut him open.
  18. Its ridiculous. Dont the Sabres have anything newsworthy?
  19. You think that doctor would risk his license for that? Do you have any idea how much he makes over his career as an expert in his field? These conspiracies are crazy. And TT doesnt have to pay anyone millions to have surgery. Hes injured unfortunately. Your scenario assumes that TT is faking it.
  20. Yup interesting. Myers is an expert in the field. I trust that if the expert said to have surgery, surgery was required. I dont necessarily think that the bills statement saying he elected to have surgery is a definitive statement that surgery wasnt required. Does it mean that surgery was required but he couldve had it later on not right now? Does it mean that no surgery was required and it wouldve healed on its own over several months? If it wouldve taken months to heal on its own would be pass a physical in March? Would electing to have surgery allow him to pass a physical in March as opposed to just letting it heal on its own? Nobody knows these answers yet and shouldnt pretend to know them. He consulted with a specialist. The specialist obviously recommended to have surgery. Thats all we know.
