Rare case where the right thing is the popular thing.
I know what I would do. I'd appeal their rulings, get them overturned, or have a stay issued against them, then provide these judges with all the information they could ever want on these programs and orders. Dump 500 or 1000 or so boxes of documents and printouts, copies of every e-mail ever sent on the subject and tell the ass holes to go through everything and then get back to me 20 years later. Oh, and just for fun redact a lot of pertinent information so they need to go to court to force disclosure.

The Trump administration is withholding $175 million from the University of Pennsylvania due to the school’s failure to ban men from women’s sports.
Who's got the "DC District court" in the March Madness Judge Pool as the one that issues the injunction prohibiting the administration from blocking the funds?

Holy sh it, are they really this stupid??
Social Security has never missed a benefit payment since the program first began sending individuals monthly benefits more than eight decades ago.
But the recent actions at the U.S. Social Security Administration by Elon Musk’s so-called Department of Government Efficiency are putting monthly benefit checks for more than 72.5 million Americans at risk, former commissioner and former Maryland governor Martin O’Malley told CNBC.com.
“Ultimately, you’re going to see the system collapse and an interruption of benefits,” O’Malley said. “I believe you will see that within the next 30 to 90 days.”
Ahead of any interruption in benefits, “people should start saving now,” O’Malley said.
O’Malley said DOGE leaders are now making changes at the agency, and significant staff cuts have already led to system outages. Those intermittent IT outages may happen more frequently and for more extended periods of time until there is a “system collapse and an interruption of benefits,” he said.
Anyone remember punch card decks used for computer programming? Those SS systems are so old they're probably still using them. But don't change or modernize anything to some level of technology commonly used in the 21st century because it might risk interrupting the antiquated systems and processes used at the agency.

You think corporate medicine will diminish in an oligarchy?
I think the innovators at 100's of small to medium sized biotechs that are doing great research and studies on promising treatments and cures for many conditions will find the FDA and other government agencies more receptive where the influence of big pharma will be diminished as a result of new leadership. Time will tell whether my expectations are correct or incorrect.

I'm hoping for another pandemic. If we can get these idiots crying about another vaccine again. I hope they refuse to take it.
I see this as a time to be optimistic. Now there's hope that government health agencies will be focused on the health and safety of Americans rather than what it been. Which is prioritizing the profits and market control of drug makers and insurers.

Must have bought the dip.
People still believe the markets are driven by the economy. But they're not. They're driven by speculation over the direction and timing of Fed monetary policy actions. Today, the conclusion after Powell's statement and press conference was monetary policy would be very accomodating and likely 2 rate cuts in 2025. So buy, buy, buy along with a short squeeze makes for nice up day.

Yes, that darn extreme liberal Judge Robert's...how dare he actually express there are processes that the law requires to be followed. The prez is one third of the equal branches, but that is hard to see 57 days into the term.
If citizens cannot see the dictatorship coming, shame. Wake up before it is too late.
There is some personal relationship between the two that might impact Robert's opinion here.
And cards on the table, we all know this isn't about following the law but rather its about liberals using lower courts to resist the administration's actions absent any power to do so through the executive branch, Congress, or the SCOTUS. Over time higher courts will likely back the administration. But the injunctions are effective in blocking and delaying the agenda with little to no consequences.
Really, otherwise what is the purpose of a ruling blocking the deportation of illegal criminal gang members? Do liberals believe gang members are deserving of their attention like other marginalized groups they claim to protect?

Flu deaths rise as anti-vaccine disinformation takes root
Good, it's working. You idiots are listening to RFK.
This article cites an increase in seasonal flu deaths and claims it's the result of disinformation yet provides no evidence or study linking the claimed cause and effect. Just the reporters subjective opinion.
It's more likely the increase is do to cause of death reporting, the strength of this seasons flu strain, and efficacy of this year's vaccine. Plus the number of people exposed to the virus.

Then proclaims anyone dying has committed a crime. Demands St. Peter send their souls back to face sentencing. But Peter says too late, the angels were already in flight! Judge demands God appear before the court to explain. Or face impeachment if Democrats regain control of the House in 2026. Liberal leadership plans to install Satan as new leader saying it time to reveal the truth and make him their official party head. So now we know who was really the President during the Biden term.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/investigations/2025/03/17/pentagon-dei-native-american-iwo-jima/
Until recently, a page on the Defense Department’s website celebrated Pfc. Ira Hayes, a Pima Indian who was one of the six Marines photographed hoisting a U.S. flag on Iwo Jima in 1945, as an emblem of the “contributions and sacrifices Native Americans have made to the United States, not just in the military, but in all walks of life.”
But the page, along with many others about Native American and other minority service members, has now been erased amid the Trump administration’s wide-ranging crackdown on what it says are “diversity, equity and inclusion” efforts in the federal government, a review by The Washington Post found.
Multiple articles about the Navajo code talkers, who were critical to America’s victory at Iwo Jima and the wider Pacific theater of the Second World War, were also removed, along with a profile of a Tonawanda Seneca officer who drafted the terms of the Confederacy’s surrender at Appomattox toward the end of the Civil War.
The purge, which also targeted multiple webpages about women and LGBTQ+ service members, highlights how aggressively military leaders are pursuing President Donald Trump’s anti-DEI mandate. Their actions mean that some of the most authoritative sources of public information about the achievements of minority service members decades before government DEI programs existed have disappeared. Some of the articles, including the piece about Hayes, remain online on websites or social media accounts for the individual branches of the military.
"Defense Department’s website celebrated Pfc. Ira Hayes, a Pima Indian who was one of the six Marines photographed hoisting a U.S. flag on Iwo Jima in 1945"
Did the DOD leave the articles about the contributions of the other 5 soldiers celebrating the ethnic heritage of those men and highlighting the contributions of their "people"?

Ukraine? They are not a biochemical country, just trumps patsy. How about North Korea, Russia...all trumps buddies.
Strange that JFK JR wanted no vaccine to try and help, or masks.
Maybe US pharma companies started this to make money or the bleach producers.
Which president helped fund Chinese labs when this happened.
Fauci may have some answers but I would look closer to the CIA..
There's a lot to unpack here.
It's been reported the CIA runs a series of biolabs located in Ukraine.
What Russia and other adversaries are doing is monitored by intelligence services.
The vaccine isn't that effective and the virus mutations render previous formulations less effective. A vaccine is supposed to produce an immune response. They changed the messaging to providing "protection".
Obama outlawed this type of GOF research in the US. NIH and other agencies most likely, contracted out the work to China. Secretly it seems without any oversight. Likely behind Obama's back. So rather than punish the perp Fauci gets a pardon for complicity on the deaths of millions.

Fun fact: The last time the US Congress issued a formal declaration of war to support military action was World War 2.

Article II, Section 2, Clause 1:
The President shall be Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy of the United States, and of the Militia of the several States, when called into the actual Service of the United States; he may require the Opinion, in writing, of the principal Officer in each of the executive Departments, upon any Subject relating to the Duties of their respective Offices, and he shall have Power to grant Reprieves and Pardons for Offences against the United States, except in Cases of Impeachment.
Got that? Grant Reprieves and Pardons. Not "sign documents with quill pen and ink bottle rendering pardons unto his relatives ..."
In the case of the pardons, the issue is was Biden present and aware of the signing off on the pardons with his signature. Or was somebody else pushing the button and "granting" the pardons which would amount to forgery. That's it. Its not a question of constitutional powers.

Trump ignored a direct court order and deported a doctor here with legal documentation. How are you okay with this?
Again, Trump ignored a DIRECT COURT ORDER. That is a dictator move. Its obvious from his past activities this judge is waist deep in Democratic party plans to obstruct the new administration. We all know this is what its about. It will be interesting when the DOJ and FBI, now in the hands of the administration, dig up correspondence and communications linking the judge to other actors like the various legal firms filing these objections where he is the presiding judge and he ruled in their favor while conspiring with the plaintiffs. At a minimum its a clear conflict of interest and most likely a crime.
-
The point eludes or is evaded by some here. Its not the use of the auto pen by the former President. Its the contention that somebody other than the President auto-signed those orders without the consent or knowledge, or presence during the act of signing, of the President.

And tell that to China and other countries that have taken our industrial capacity and pharma production.

Trump is now ignoring court orders in his desperate attempt to 1) remove brown people from the country and 2) meet his quota that he’s missed so far.
Seems bad!
No doubt the circumstances of some of these deportation cases require further investigation.
But mixing them together with defending narco-terrorists and foriegn criminal gang organization members isn't going to play well.
The 'court order' comes from the same judge that I believe let J6 riot agitator and instigator and government confidential informant Ray Epps off he hook along with giving him an apology from the court for putting him through the stress of a court trial.

Seems that the social security database culling to remove dead people is not going so great either for "Tech Support". In it's effort to remove dead people it seems they are making some live people dead so as to stop paying them.
Fortunately Ned was not totally dependent on SS to survive but many are. It could make them homeless by breaking things as President Musk likes to do.
The social security system, like any other process is not perfect. Every process has an error rate. They've made errors in the past and will likely make them in the future. So you can't take one random example of an error and conclude there's some systemic problem. DOGE won't be perfect either. But that doesn't mean its not effective in rooting out fraud, waste, and abuse. So there's one mistake highlighted. Fix it.

Oh, so we're digging all the way back to 125+ years ago to find the last time the US did something remotely similar to what Russia is still doing today? Nice! That's like bringing up medieval battles to justify modern-day wars.
I guess if we keep reaching back far enough, maybe we can justify anything, right? Cool logic!
I'm not justifying anything. I'm pointing out the fallacy of the good vs evil argument many posters rely on when the reality of life is things are not so black and white.
But a more recent example for our country would be the invasion of Iraq. Under false pretense. No WMD, no link to 9/11. Bush and his henchmen fabricated the justification and all the "patriots" on both sides of the isle fell in line and went along with the charade. The removal of Hussain was a strategic disaster for the Middle East. It removed Iran's natural enemy from the game board. And left us with today's mess. How is this so different from what Putin did? After all, many on the left considered Bush and Chaney as war criminals as s result of displacing and killing 100's of thousands of civilians. Until they lined up against Trump and turned into heroes.

It's fake. Part of the psychops strategy of the resistance plan to convince the public of another Democrat created story. This one being that somehow Musk is running the executive branch and all these changes are a secret and nefarious scheme to enrich an already wealthy cabal of unnamed oligarchs. Give it up already.
ABC's GMA repeated this fake story this morning say Trump denied the story. Said it was a lie, but...
