Question For All of You
Bufcomments replied to Canadian Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I just guessing here but when they did the interview with Frazier one of the questions I am SURE they asked him is .... how would you use Maybin in your Defense? One of the things that bugged me last year was the fact that Fewell did not get him on the field more often, you cant learn when you are sitting the bench. WAY to early to say Maybin is a bust IMO. -
Say what you want about Sully, but he is right most of the time and IMO the Bills might be better off getting somebody like Harbaugh or Russ Grimm. I would be ok with Frazier if he does not bring the Cover 2 Defense with him and he gets a good OC.

I heard Bruce Smith say that once your thinking about retiring you are already retired...... I think he will call it quits, he realizes this is a rebuilding team and they are about to blow it all up, which is a good thing. -
Im close to deciding what to have for dinner, I know which way I am leaning but you will find out at the next news presser.....

Question For All of You
Bufcomments replied to Canadian Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Okung should be off the board by the 9th pick. If he is there is your pick. But I am not a huge fan of any of the top QB's in this draft. Beside they might be gone by the time the Bills draft. They know they need a playmaking LB. We know they need a playmaking LB. McClain if he comes out fits that mode. It really depends on who they get during the free agent signing period. If they manage to get a LT that way and they like McClain enough they will take him IMO. -
Great post. I think we take him if the cards fall our way. Let Fitz start early in the year, run the rock with Fred and Marshawn until the kid learns the pro game.

Damn Wes, tough break. I respected that little fast white guy lol The Pats run on the division is slowly coming to an end. now maybe if Randy Moss retires......

Man stop your making me smile with these kinda of posts lol

I truly think if we had won that game in Jacksonville and beat NE he might have a more solid chance. But his D was the worst against the rush in the league...big negative. May have cost him the job. But to his credit he did manage to get the team ready to play, lack of any offence really hurt. Good job in naming Fred Jackson the starter. Bad timing, he would have done better if half the team wasn't on IR. I wonder if he was forced to play that Cover 2 by Juaron??? No way you could change it during the middle of the season. I will watch his career closely because I really like the guy.

I also think it is 50/50 the Bills get Cowher I thinks he likes the running game potential here with Jackson and Lynch. I semi agree with Nix that we are not far away and he would like an experienced coach. That and what Kelly was saying when he mentioned Cowher about 4 or 5 times during the presser at the Nix hiring tells me they are gonna go all out for him. If they get Cowher I will go outside and do snow angels in the snow lol Get er done Buddy, Jimbo, Thurman, Russ and most importantly RALPH.

Well lets wait and see what goes down... But I believe if the Bills want Cowher they better get it done this week before the Panthers owner has a change in heart. Get er done Buddy......

Coach Sal: Bills have met with Cowher twice
Bufcomments replied to Fingon's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think Cowher would want anybody that could help the team make big plays and T.O. has about 2 good years left in him. No doubt the Bills will be a running team with either Cowher or Fox but having said that you still need somebody outside of Evans. A better OC would make better use of T.O and Evans and I think there is no doubt Cohwer would bring in a seasoned OC to make this offense better than what it is now. Just my 2 cents -
Jackson by far is my favorite Bill, and he did it the hard way, with hard work, for that I am super proud of him and I am glad Fewell had the balls to name him the starter. Lynch has nobody to blame but himself on how his year played out. There is going to be a serious fight for the RB spot next year and I hope Lynch has learned his lesson. I still like Beast Mode but Jackson took advantage, well done Fred.

Bufcomments replied to Fingon's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think Monday(or sometime this week) the Bills make a very hard push for Cowher. They have nothing to lose but everything to gain. If Carolina keeps HC Fox then Carolina is out of the picture, everything hinges on what Carolina does. Plus I think if the Bills hire Cowher, T.O. might want to think about staying, besides I don't think Owens will have to many suitors asking for his services. all we can do is wait and see what happens, this is going to be an interesting offseason and it finally starts tommorow -
transitioning from a 4-3 defense to a 3-4
Bufcomments replied to Typical TBD Guy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I like your post. Williams on the nose would remind me of Jeff Wright. Schobel and Stroud on the ends. If they did this they would have to draft McClain as ILB along with Mitchell. You could put Poz on the strong side with whoever wins the weakside( , Ellison or Harris?). Bring in Maybin on pass downs, put him anywhere and say sic em dog lol. They can make the switch, it is not impossible but very unlikely. -

Brian Billick to interview for head coaching job

OK I did not know that..... but I think Rivera would be happy with that title and I hope he does not keep the Cover 2 if hired. -
Hey Buddy- Nix these Uniforms!
Bufcomments replied to Robert Paulson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I like the home uniforms all blue. Even though I love the 60's blue. but the away uniforms are terrible , if we went to the throwback away unis that would be sweet -

Bufcomments replied to d_wag's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Maybe this is how it's going down.... Billick HC Rivera DC Weiss OC For Real...I could live with that. Get a good QB coach, OL coach, LB coach to help Maybin with the move to OLB, keep the secondary coach. Yea maybe this could happen, got my fingers crossed. -
Will Josh Reed's career mirror Andre's?
Bufcomments replied to BillsWatch's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
# 83 Reed....Hall of Famer # 82 Reed ..... benchwarmer, slot reciever , ball dropper. Josh cant hold Andre's jockstrap if you ask me. -
Highly doubt it.... unless it is a move to fill the Rooney rule, that's about all I see into it.

Tebow looks like a NFL QB tonight
Bufcomments replied to Chuckknox's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I like Tebow. I would not bet against this guy making it in the NFL. I want to bring up a point nobody has mentioned. I think Florida has nice DB's , The Bearcats and Pike could do nothing against them. Now Tebow had to practice vs that D right?? All I saying is he is interesting prospect. Think the Jags will get him because they need those tickets sold. Even if he is nothing more than a backup in the NFL its better than not being in the NFL at all....
