  1. Get rid of the thug (Lynch) now and save the organization some embarrassment.

I think they do that well enough on their own they dont need any help. They have been doing it for a decade now.

Lets get rid of Marshawn because he had a gun, but lets keep Kelsey cause he is a nice guy, Robert Royal seems like he could be my buddy too, hey lets bring back Rob Johnson, we where bff. We should win some football games before we start getting picky.

He might be the best player on the team, getting rid of Marshawn would be one of the worst moves in franchise history.

We dont know they story. I would carry a gun too if I where him. Coming from gangtown USA to th NFL with millions is a pretty dangerous thing. Garuanteed there are people after him. Only problem here is that it was not a licensed weapon.

Hey Ray Lewis killed a guy...maybe even two...There is always an upside

  2. I hear a lot of rumbling about how the Bills offense is not producing... news flash... and most of that blame lands in Edwards lap. No one can deny that he played poorly down the line, but no one could deny that there were some games we never would have won if he wasn’t in the lineup. I for one, think that the coaches are what’s hurting our offense/players. Whenever the Bills were running the 2 minute O, they were very successful. The multiple drives at the end of the half or game were near perfection. The times they were not successful, was when the coaches stepped in to mess it up (Freddie Jackson run play/Preston fight). I point this out because the 2 minute is when Trent is allowed to call his own plays, plays he is comfortable with. The result is pretty much undeniable. He said before the KC game that he was very comfortable with that game plan, we he played very well, albeit against a poor D. The Bills coaching staff are pretty much un cappable of putting together a successful game plan.

Un successful coaches, like DJ, are unsuccessful because they cannot get their players to play well enough to win...obviously. So how can we even judge Edwards plays under such a poor coaching staff? Everyone and their mother knew Losman was terrible, so dont give me that. Everyone here knows that Edwards has "IT". I think that the Bills need to give Edwards a chance until limp Dick is gone.

Sometimes I feel like me and the rest of the city of Buffalo are watching 2 different QB's

    A few things...

While Trent has played well, he has rarely been the most productive part of our offense

I hate these end of the game drives that I guess makes him a "winner"...The results in those games are only because the defense plays prevent and all TE does is toss it to the check down. Its not hard to throw underneath when db are playing way off the WR.

TE's struggles down the line- game tape. His inability to find recievers down the field means that defenses dont need to respect it. Take away the underneath and he doesnt go over top. IE Marshawns production when JP was behind center(thank the lord hes gone), cant crowd the line

Trents Poise- where when what. blitz and hes done for, scared, nervous, blind...

Trent is a winner... not in this post, but I have read it and heard it here a ton...what makes him a winner, is it his outstanding record as an NFL starter, or his stellar college career

I am not saying TE is to blame, but in no way does he make anything better...the only improvement is he is not JP

coaching is a huge issue, however its not like TE and Co. are operating at a really high level either

  3. Honestly, I dont see much hope in the FA market for a QB. If Det takes a QB, maybe they will cut Culpepper and we can look at him. But outside of that, Garcia and Leftwich seem to be the most capable, but after them, no one really gives me much confidence.

Culpepper, Leftwhich, and Garcia...all three of them could start over Trent. Dick will bring in somebody who can "push Trent" but wont bring in anybody who is realistically capable of taking his job. we will either see Hamden or a late draft pick.

  4. I hope Bruce and Andre gets in, but come on Ralph. Other than being an original owner and alive, all he has done is hire Pollian. Oh yeah we had OJ too, but we had to be so bad we got to pick him 1st overall, and we where still bad. Ralph in the Hall Of Fame only furthers the idea that he is doing a good job with this team. I love Ralph and thank him for his time he has kept the Bills in Buffalo, but his current actions with this team don't resemble Hall of Fame caliber.

  5. that would be great. lets get rid of the best player on the team for a wr. that way we can not throw the ball down field some more to somebody else making more money than they deserve. if we are lucky we win a few games, then we call our games even closer to the chest. we can rely on the running back we just traded to take most of our passes out of the backfield, and our wr can run even shorter routes. making boldin only more necassary. oh wait the best part of this hole plan will be when trent goes down for 4-6 games and we dont have a good back up behind him, so we can not get boldin the ball even more.

oh yeah and there wont be any problems with him here either because he already said he does not want to play in a cold weather city.

boldin would be a supreme addition to this offense, but not under this coaching staff/organization, and most definitely not at the cost of marshawn.

  6. I think they were 6-10 the year they drafted Big Ben. So he did not have a super bowl team fall in his lap. You ever think for one moment that certain players make the whole team better? Especially at qb. I am not saying that he carried the team to the AFC title his 1st year, but do not think for one moment the bills would not of been better off if they were able to draft Big Ben. He would of given the bills something that they have not had since Jim Kelly retired. A true franchise qb.

actually in 2004 they went 15-1, so wrong on that count, won the super bowl the year after in 2005.

big ben is good better than what we have had here in a very long time. but he is not great, just part of a good team with a commitment to the run. his stats are actually pretty bad when asked to throw the ball more than 30 times a game. hes good, hes an athlete, but not great.

we would have run him out of here and thrown him on top of drew bledsoe with all the other qb's we run out of here. dont worry though we would still draft trent, and he is our new savior, and he will right the ship....haha....he will be the next one thrown into the heap of qb's that where a bust here

the long term problem in buffalo is our system and management, when that gets fixed the team will be fine

  7. The bottom line is this: Was Ralph Wilson a better owner when he was younger? He was plenty sharp and spry when he decided to fire Bill Polian and run Lou Saban out of town.

people are going to hate me for this, but the only time the Bills where ever really good was under Bill Polian, and Ralph screwed that all up. It wasnt Marv(although good, he was magnified by his team) , it wasnt Ralph (ever), it was all Pollian. We would have gone to 2 or more super bowls without marv or ralph, but none with just either. He is the only thing to ever make this team a competitor, and Ralph has made all the moves to make sure that doesnt happen again.

  8. OK... Won't pretend to be the football genius or Monday morning quarterback. But I have a simple observation to toss by the wall here for discussion sake...

The Defense is good. 12th in the league by ESPN's ranking....

    - DJ is a Defensive guy in my estimation based on what he did in Chi town, and the defense went from second worst in the league to better than average…

    - The line is one of the bigger lines in the NFL.

    - Bills have 2 good tough runners that can pound the rock inside

Turk-ball seems to favor throwing first and running second, relying on your inexperienced QB's and undersized receivers that don't seem to get separation very well.

Why? I long for the offense where they run on first and second down, throw on third. With this line and these backs, this kind of basic football, running to set up the pass (giant football) seems to make more sense. Even K gun thrived off TT's running. Remember when there were many consecutive seasons where you could bank on it, if Thurman rushed for 100, the bills had a W. If they could establish the run, it set up the team for success... now it seems like they dig a hole, and then resort to the run... can that be?

I noted in at least two games this year after getting burned by early QB turn-overs, they buckled down and got more conservative and actually moved the ball far better...

    Am I off here??

I agree in concept, but lets stay away from run, run, pass. Agreed establishing a better run game is a MUST.

  9. 1. Edwards' concussion early against Arizona

2a. Ginn's 60+ Yard pass reception (off McGee) Immediately after Buffalo 'took control' at Miami.

2b. Edwards fumbling @ Miami on an already successful sneak (whistle should have gone)

    3. Elam's pick 6 for the Jets

    4. Lindell's missed FG against Cleveland Monday night

    5. Losman's SEVERELY underthrown fade pass on first down and goal

    6. Losman not being able to hold onto the ball with 2:00 left on the play action against the Jets.

Considering the doom and gloom... these 6 plays could have been the difference of us being in the state we are in now... Or scrambling for playoff tickets.

with the exception of #1, most are a combination of coaching creating an optimal situation for failure, along with a severe failure on the Bills' part of executing.

how about we about we are bad, far more than 6 plays cost us the season. consistent bad play cost us the season. poor preparation cost the season. good teams find a way to win, bad teams have fans that can take hundreds of plays in a year and find a handful that ruined everything. lack of talent and coaching are why we aren't in the playoffs.

I love the bills and will watch the next 2 games, but seriously. you look at our coaching and player roster and think yeah... these 6 plays are the problem...c'mon

    dumb

  10. I heard Mcnabb might hit the market. Anybody would be stupid not to touch that, I also heard that Hasselbeck might too. If either of those to do i say we pick them up. we could either name Edwards a number 2, which would be tough after a year and a half as the starter, or put him on the trade block with parrish or kelsey and pick up maybe a second rounder and get a young qb there.

    just some thoughts.

realistically we will be back here with Edwards and Jauron. Go about 8-8, missing the playoffs because some jackoff 2nd stringer had to play 6 games because Trent got hurt again.

  11. As the NFL grows more and more each year and the super powers, Dallas, Washington, New York, etc get more and more $ because of various reasons (high ticket prices, modern stadiums etc) it has become clear as day to me if the Buffalo Bills want to be able to attract some prospective UFA's and 'keep up with the Joneses" as they say, it is time to bid adois to the Ralph and build a modern stadium either in Orchard Park or downtown Buffalo.

And having said that, as a Bills fan, we yearn to see our team be the very best it can be. In order to do that, for example would you pay double the price or MORE for the tickets you pay now if that meant the Bills would 'have enough $' to go out and get a Bill Cowher as a HC?

irrational. stadiums dont make teams good. FA's will come if we are good. The stadium is infact fine and one of the largest in the NFL. Lets not forget we are the 3rd poorest city in the nation. Raising ticket prices to double would only hurt.

i am annoyed by this post

  12. If you really thought the coaches benched Edwards because they thought Losman was gonna win the game, you're an idiot. Edwards struggled, got injured, and was taken out. Losman came in and played like how Losman plays. Terribly (thoguh he still has a cannon).

I have heard the groin pull story from 4 different sources.

FOX REPORTER(on sideline)- asked Edwards if he was hurt, Edwards said NO

EDWARDS(at pc)- It bothered me in KC but was bad at the end of the 1st half

JAURON(at pc)- Trent hurt it real early in the game

JOSH REED(after the game)- Trent didnt say anything to us about an injury, thats the sort of thing he would tell us about

Please humor me with more of your infinite logic and wisdom...

  13. Yesterday we where a Roscoe catch and 1 field goal away from winning. JP was right though, it wouldnt be deserved.

Here is what happens this off season. We cut Lindell in order to divert our REAL problems with out team. Jauron stays, and we think everything is ok because JP is gone and we have a new kicker. Oh yeah and Trent will again be our savior. We will again raise our hopes for a post season 09-10, We will go 8-8 Ralph will die and the Bills will move.

Great I just ruined my entire day.

  14. unless he was only told of his injury himself at the beginning of the third quarter??????

and told to 'play ball' about it or lose his starting job????????

So, your theory is that Trent was injured but nobody told him about it?

Then, when he was told of his injury he was given the choice of playing or losing is job?

    You are nucking futs.

    NOT INJURED

Told fox sports that he was not injured, he was fine.

Dick Jauron said in his pc that Trent suffered that injury early on in todays game.

Trent says in his pc that it was a pre-existing injury from KC.

There all lies. I am not upset about the switch, you cant allow that kind of poor play to go on regularly. which it has been. Dick should have stepped up and said we are in the middle of a tough road to the playoffs and we needed some sort of change.
