  1. just to put this out there....

I have never been to Miami, and am unfamiliar with its roads/geography. I do have a friend that lived there for 4 years(i know its dumb i am taking somebody else account), and claims that the road that stallworth hit that guy on was more or less a small highway, and under no circumstances, and at no time of the day should anybody ever think about crossing there.

I am not condoning his drinking and driving, but he according to the friend it would have been near impossible for anybody to avoid the situation wether sober or not.

  2. i do have a bit of an inside track regarding JP. He isnt calling it quits. JP has recieved calls from more than a few teams, they have just been turned down. He has been waiting for a starting offer, but it is almost June, so that is not going to happen. He shot himself in the foot and will not get that offer, and most likely not a back up position at this point either. Had he not held out he most definetely would have been a back up this year, but now you may never hear from him again.

  3. when he does something that warrants a contract extension/ upgrade. TE contract is fine right now, he is playing at the level his paycheck is written for. When he stops being mediocre(or less than) he can get paid mediocre qb money. he has yet to really do anything to impress me, other than not be JP Losman, and that high is starting to where off. He needs to step up and do it quick, otherwise he will be our back up for our new coaching staff next year after dj blows it again this year.

  4. Sorry, but Vic Carucci is a clown too. The guy has been such a big Dick Jauron apologist on Sirius NFL radio that I lost ALL respect for that guy. Last year he'd never fail to get me angry while giving his moronic and backward opinions about the Bills. He can shove his "continuity" and "it's the player's fault" arguments you know where.

He is also just flat out wrong alot. His game analysis is wrong alot, his offseason predicitions and trade values are way off base, his personel assessment is awful, and he makes speculation on his reported knoledge of the Bills FO that is almost always wrong. For a guy with alot of inside info, he is just effing wrong all the time, and seems to talk and write for the sake of it. not a huge Carucci fan if you couldnt tell. I like that he is local, but that is about all I think he has going for him. Ed Kilgore is just an idiot turn on the news turn off the sound and just watch the high lights, he is a complete hack. I like Tim Graham alot though.

  5. If the Bills draft Raji it will be:

Lynch in trouble with the law about pot

Last year's #2 allegedly tried to kill his father

Now we draft a KNOWN pot head.

Goodell will not be kind. He can say he is punishing LYnch, but it will punishment OF the Bills FOR Lyanch AND Raji.

    youre joking right

lynch charged with no pot posession, a pot smell, and a gun in trunk. not high, would have been charged with dui if high.

cant suspend lynch based on allegations of an "incedent" that ended up being nothing, hardy has never been, and my guess is never will be an issue.

smoking pot and being a pot head are two completely different things. 22 year old college kid, tests positive for a little pot, he is a bad apple. lets not throw around labels untill a pattern developes

c'mon stop making issues out of nothing, youre out of your gord 8-12 games because goodell doesnt like ralphs decision making...silly. raji will be dealt with for his own instances, just as lynch his, and hardy has been investigated.

  6. he wont get 8-12 games...its as simple as that. most unrealistic prediction, i think you are high, and reading far to much into this. 4 max, maybe even noething at all. Not to mention Goodell cant punish Lynch for something somebody else did.

    Put down the weed

I think you have had enough

  7. Would you say the stuff he did before he joined the Bills was also "blown out of proportion?" Just curious as to what you are using for comparison.

like his "stealing" of Hardy's number 81, which was clearly not the case, as well as his absense from optional conditioning, which neither lee evens, marcus stroud, or even dick juron where at. the guy as far as his time spent here, seems to be fine. we will see if that continues as the season progresses.

    is TO an angel...NO

    problems...YES

but there have been zero problems here, as much as the media wishes there where, I am assuming that other non-issues in philly or san fran where blown out of proportion(other than calling garcia a homo)

  8. NFL Preaseason Schedule

We get to play 5 pre-season games (2 at Home, 2 away and 1 neutral)...Does anyone thing it will help get Edwards get in sync with his receivers ?

Also, why doesn't the NFL let the teams that hardly play each other get a chance to meet in the Pre season especially if they are from the other conference...

The Bills should really play the local area teams like Clevland, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, NY Giants etc and reduce their travel.

5 games just means that TE will blow his load earlier...and be more lack luster when the reg season takes place

  9. its not being a conspiracy theorist, he is telling the truth, jerry jones admits that is basically what happend. All you heard after the release from JJ is that his advisors and those close to him kept pushing him, saying he was too much of a liability, and he caved in. JJ would love TO to still be with the stars

Since his arrival to Buffalo I have noticed that everything this guy does is blown out of proportion, the media likes a bad guy, and TO is it.

This conspiracy theory you speak of doesnt really touch on that because it is the truth and the dallas brass themselves will admit to it.

  10. Well...back in 1999 there were about 20 of us who made the trip to Cincinnati for a December game. On the Saturday night before the game we went to a local eating establishment to fill our stomachs before a night of heavy drinking. Well, we are all there (all of us sporting Bills paraphernalia) sitting at 2 tables and in walks Hansen, Lingner, and 2 other Bills whom I cannot recall. Well, don't Lingner, and the 2 other Bills stop by our table and say hi, ask us where we are from and thank us for supporting the team on the road. Hansen, well shot us a look, kept walking and sat down by himself. I know, not the biggest reason to label him a jerk, nonetheless, I felt it was classless considering the other 3 did stop. I just felt like it was a bit arrogant.

WAH Phil Hansen didnt say hi to me...WAH everybody else came over and said hi....WAH he gave me what I thought was a dirty look...WAH I think that everybody should interupt what they are doing to come say hi to me

Hansen has two options in your story, be the nicest guy ever and you write about how he is the nicest person in the world, or two he goes and sits down to eat HIS DINNER, on GAME NIGHT...yeah he was a huge ass...no need to go around calling people names over a silly story

Besides there are too many good stories about players being really huge a-holes to waste time on this one

  11. Oh, and another one for you "he can't play in bad weather" folks: End of the season, 2 years ago, at Wash: raining, cold, we're down by 2 w/ aprox one min to go when we get the ball at about our 25. After a few quick outs to Roscoe, Edwards launches a perfect pass to Reed, about 25 yards in the air, to set us up for Lindells winning kick. The throw was dropped in perfectly b/t 4 defenders, and it could not have been a better throw. Trent was a rookie. But, but, but...he can't play in weather! He can't throw down the field! He's a glove wearing Mary! Wah, Wah! Wah!!!!

haha what a joke...you cant be serious about this post..haha

  12. numbers arent exact, just a frame of refrence as to where I think we should be to be considered par. asking an offense to be in the top 10 in all facets of the passing game when you have a high caliber wr corps is not an unacceptable request. TE can put up mediocre/sub par numbers when we start winning 12+ games a season.

Is it ok for him to be ranked bottom half of the league again for an overall mediocre season, after adding TO, c'mon. we all have high expectations with our recent aquisition, and we need to opperate like we have a HIGH POWERED OFFENSE, because WE HAVE A HIGH POWERED OFFENSE

  13. Good point. That should be the absolute minimum. Let's not think about winning games, just fantasy number while playing in the elements of Orchard Park, NY.

    Freaking unbelieveable.

so you are saying with TO Evans and Reed lining up out wide it is acceptable for TE to put in the same lack luster performance, and turn over the ball. If Lindell makes that fieldgoal against Cleveland, does that make TE's play acceptable. We won so he did his job.

If you have a top flight wr core, you need to put up top flight performances, otherwise you are not utilizing the potential output of the team.

If Edwards throws for 3000 yards, 1 game over 300, and we go 10-6 is that ok, superstar recievers and mediocre QB play...c'mon. It is not all about the stats, but with a top 3 recieving corp, he should be easily able to put up top 10 wb numbers, and thats all those numbers I listed are, top 10 qb numbers.

    exceptable request

  14. With the weapons Trent has, what kind of a season are we calling breakout. Just improvements, are mediocre numbers considered breakout considering his previous stats. I think with the WR core and RB tandem we have he needs to put up TOP numbers, being ranked 10-20th isnt going to cut, he needs to be easy top 10 in every category.

This is what I think his MINIMUMS are

    YDS- 3700+

    Comp %- 65

    Yds/Game- 240+

    TD- 24+

    INTs- 14-

    QB Rating- 90+

These numbers will put him in the top 8-10 QB's, which he needs to be atleast with the weapons available, anything short of TOP 10 play is easily unacceptable to me, and I think I am giving him a lot of wiggle room here, all things considered

  15. Alpha bro, come on!! You have to stop this crusade against Edwards. No doubt, Edwards has been the better clutch player than Cutler. Those games you mention were not obvious games that we had to win. Where as you couldn't be more clear on Cutler's games. He stunk, bottom line.

Your reaching Alpha, your really reaching, just because you say "I like the guy", doesn't mean you do, it is obvious that you don't, so please don't say you do, everyone knows you don't

. You really don't have a good argument. The fumbles argument  .

Let's face it, Culter has been very mediocre to poor when they needed him. Edwards has been above average in games in the clutch. It is what it is Alpha.

And also, on a sidenote Alpha, Did you read the original post by BillsVet? Where in his post did it make it into a Cutler vs. Edwards argument?

I have another question for you, Where in my original post did I make it a Edwards vs. Cutler argument? (the only reason why I mentioned Edwards was to correct flbillsfans incorrect post)

I know you love to chime in and show how much "you like the guy" in Edwards, but you missed the whole point. I've told you this before, you are obsessed in wanting to show the whole world why Edwards sucks in your view.

    just let it go.

    what are you high??

TE a better clutch player than Cutler, while Cutler may not be great, it would be a stretch to call Edwards decent in the clutch. I know he had those come back games where he valiantly marched us down the field in the 4th quarter and we all felt good, and we all where cautiously thinking super bowl at 5-1....then thats when it hit the fan, teams got tape, realized when they where up they didnt have to play prevent, because we(TE) dont throw the ball down field.

Trent was so clutch we managed to drop basically the last 10 games of the season. How has TE not been poor when we needed him(please not playoff schedule, and how we where not on it)

Under zero circumstances do I think TE is a bad QB, but the jury is still out, there are some real ball control, arm strength, weather, and durability issues. He still has alot to prove, and I think can be very good.

Like Alpha I just dont understand the Golden Boy persona TE has been given, why the constant get out of jail free card on a regular basis.
