Kind of gutless to not let Browning have a chance with the ball in his hands. He's played lights out in an impossible situation, and you just leave it up to your middling kicker.

Of course the middling kicker made it as I typed this because every team other than the Bills can just have everything go right for them.

It almost feels like they know something…

True, I just wonder if zone techniques and fundamentals for CB is different than for FS? Maybe? It’s a stretch I know.

My WAG would be zone techniques and fundamentals are even harder from safety spot than corner and much more critical if you make an error And also that it varies by scheme.  But would be interested to know from someone who has the answer.

He’s just grabby at CB and is currently playing with zero confidence.

Outside 1 terrible game this season it’s not like he has a lengthy low-lite film. He has made some good plays in his career too.

I think he deserves a shot this summer, what’s the worst that happens?

All for doing something with the guy…  im only suggesting the things he’s rumored to struggle with tackling and zone.  Those are the two things a less athletic DB can be good at to be a great safety.

Benford I think is guaranteed, he’s replacing Poyer at SS.

A low key guy I’d love to see get a shot at FS is Elam. I know his stats, 1 missed tackles in his last 8 games dating back to last year. What I don’t know is the film, if he shys away from contact or if he’s a willing tackler. My memory wants to say he’s willing. It would give us an elite athlete at Safety, something we’ve desperately needed this season.

    Just thoughts!

As athletic as he Is it is hard not for think he is missing everything you look for in a safety based on lack of playing time at corner.

    We can beat the Chiefs.

If we play like we have the last two weeks, even with the few mistakes, we WILL beat the Chiefs (they are not as good as Philly). They are in the same funk as we were most of the season. They have lost 3 of their last 5.

The season is on the line here. Win and we are only 1 game back of the Chiefs (who would have thought?). The Jags play the Browns this week (go Jags). Broncos play the Chargers (go Chargers). Colts play the Bengals (go Bengals).

I also want to know what NFL schedule maker thought it would be funny to make this the 13th game of the season. Real funny.

    Go Bills.

yep- win out and don’t need much help. Is there a scenario where wining out doesn’t get in?

Not that I know of but I think it's a pretty useless stat.  Just because it hasn't happened doesn't mean it can't or won't.  Reid didn't win one in Philly. Does that mean he isn't a good enough coach to win one?  Obviously not.

This point of past performance being predictive is a good one.

there are several example in every direction, Bill B being another …

I seen these on twitter today.  Not sure if they have been posted somewhere here or not but I thought people would find them interesting

Who have been the closers on D? In my mind
    Matt Milano

    TreD White

    Von Miller

    Taron Johnson

    Jordan Poyer
    Micah Hyde

Even Tremaine had some game ending stops

first two and last are gone, the third one is 1-legged, Taron has not had a good year and Poyer and Hyde look washed up.

Save some splash plays from Ed and Bernard’s flashes, it’s a bunch or marginal talent.

when there is a team with a lot of talent that has needs from injury there will always be talk of that team adding said player.

also, if something is to happen to Miller we need to make sure we over pay a declining veteran to sit out for injuries so signing him makes sense.

Such a shame … this guy isn’t so old at 28. Back stuff sux

According to Marino's All-22 analysis, that pass to Davis in the end zone should have been to the outside (if so, biggest error of the game was on Allen).  I don't know if that is correct, but if so, two biggest mistakes of the game were on JA.

The defender had inside leverage, he’s only going to open on the corner route, in fact was. If it was in breaking it may be an int but definitely harder to get separation

Kelce is 33 years old....his body is beginning to break down as he has been injured multiple times already this year.

Kincaid is a WR in the body of a TE, catches everything thrown his way, and has one of the best QB’s in the league throwing him the ball.

The Bills have the next Travis Kelce on their roster!!

    Go Bills!!

what team will he be on then since we are blowing it up?

Saying "this QB is great and one of the best in the NFL but turns it over a lot" shouldn't be hard

Or even…. God forbid… he’s really good, but if he just big boy’d up in a few areas of his game the team would be winning superbowls.

It’s so hard to watch such a great talent continue to underachieve when it matters.

!@#$ even Tom Brady said it to him…. Just manage risk a bit and win!!!

Maybe he knows something about winning??

Hysterical lol. @Alphadawg7 you dog! Josh worse than Daniel Jones, Sammy Bradford and Neil "the Wheel" O'Donnell?

the lengths they go to to protect the narrative…. It’s like the other one who walked through all the seasons he wasn’t INT leader and then switched to int% for the season he was… 😂

as they say the first step is admitting you have a problem. It’s like getting Tim Tebow fans to admit he had some mechanics issues.
