  1. Bet the pardon of the OP, but Alex Trebek did not lose his fight.

He fought one of the most deadly forms of cancer known to man, for much longer than expected, and did it with an attitude that I personally would love to emulate on even my best day.

He is an icon, and I will never forget him.

See you on the other side, dear Alex. We will certainly miss you.

Tre has trouble covering Hopkins, if you have Hopkins in FFL definitely start him this week.

What? He held him catchless for the entire first half of the playoff game, and then caused a fumble on Hopkins first reception. Yes, Nuk had a few big catches in the 2nd half (including a deuce), but I think you’re overstating

This is hysterical.  The Bills didn't "realize early on that they wouldn't be able to run the ball".

They realized during their game planning phase that the SeaSnakes pass D was something they could exploit, and with Allen's shoulder starting to feel relatively normal and John Brown back in the lineup, we had the tools to exploit it.

I believe during the Steelers game last year he said that he couldn't understand at all what the Bills saw in Allen until he met him in person before the game and saw the energy he brought.  During the game, every time Allen missed a throw there was a comment about his accuracy (when Hodges missed, he "couldn't connect).  When Allen completed throws "that should have been an interception, Allen got lucky" except that Allen knows he has the arm to gun it in on those sideline throws.

I laugh so hard when analysts call one of Josh’s throws “dangerous”...I’m all “nah fam, you just think so because you don’t know this dude’s arm”

They would likely have if their kicker didn't come up short from 49 yards on a kick that was going right down the middle...no idea how that hapened because the man just hit a 56 yarder a few weeks ago so it isn't like he has range issues...

Dolphins just winning in unsustainable ways the last 2 weeks...relying on defense to score each game, ST returns for TDs, kickers inexplicably missing FGs in a way that almost never happens...

That luck will run out eventually, they are not going 8-0 over the 2nd half of the year.

    Gonzalez just mis-hit it. Happens.

Wanna bet he nails a huge one against us? Bet he does...we have a weird history against Arizona kickers...their team has had two kickers in history hit 60-yard FGs: Jay Feely hit a 61-yarder at home against Buffalo in 2012, and Chandler Catanzaro hit a 60-yarder on the road in 2016...against Buffalo.

  5. Tough, tough game.

They have an extremely talented offense, a creative play caller, and will be coming with an edge after a bad loss.

Gotta stick with the same game plan: play disciplined zone coverage, timely & effective blitzes, make plays on the football defensively.

Offensively, their run D isn’t good, but I would much prefer if Buffalo can take advantage of their corners. Much like Seattle, they’ve got a stick of dynamite back there at safety and they’ll use him everywhere. Use that PA and pump fake game to slow him down.

If the Bills are truly legit they should handle AZ with no problems...not necessarily saying they should blow them out but shouldn't be a 3 point margin of victory like what happen with the Dolphins today.

Because if Josh Allen loses to the same defense that Tua moved the ball easily against no only does the pressure start to build the critics will start doubting this team again.

And if the Chiefs were truly legit they should blow out Carolina, but they didn’t.

And if the Titans are legit they should blow out Cincinnati, but they didn’t.

And if the Steelers are legit they should blow out the Cowboys, but they didn’t.

And if the Seahawks are legit they should blow out the Bills, but they didn’t.

Because this is the NFL, and week to week consistency isn’t as cut and dry as people would like it to be.

I’ll take a 2-0 victory on a safety or a FG fest that ends 12-9 if it means getting to the bye at 8-2.

Is Allen playing defense and special teams as well?

I understand your point; I agree with the other poster, however, that I doubt any defense is up to stopping Seattle consistently, so the path to victory is to outscore them...and for that to happen we need The Big Bossman to be himself for all 4 quarters today.

  8. Honestly I have to give it to the OP. I’ve been watching games for 35 years, and that play is the first time I leapt from my chair and screamed “THAT IS MY QUARTERBACK”. I’ve never seen that kind of effort, attitude, athleticism, and strength. It was the moment that most of America learned why Josh Allen has the ultimate respect of his teammates.

I know this probably won't happen, but would love to see Bates (yes, I've been the Chair of his fan club since last season) as a starter at the Guard position even if Ford does return on Sunday. Winters is a liability. Bates would be an upgrade. Why don't the coaches see that like I do from my living room couch????

I think there’s a fair chance that Winters goes to the bench if Ford is healthy. Ford back at LG with Bates at center (after a full week of practice there) and Mongo back at RG would be my preference.

Really hope Josh Allen doesn’t come out with too much adrenaline like he does in perceived big games and start missing easy throws. I’m telling you I’d run Allen first two plays of the game to try to get him calmed down.

I would call 3 straight WR screens—betcha they’d each go for 1st downs.

How he does this per SI article:

    "Dad" Jokes

Maybe with regard to some of the guys who are having hard times with illness or playing through injury?

Dawson Knox, Mitch Morse, Cody Ford, Brian Winters, Jon Feliciano, John Brown, Cole Beasley and that's just on offense -

Quite a list of guys who have reason to need some help keeping their spirits up actually!!!!

Um, why are their spirits down? Maybe it’s the global pandemic, the civil unrest, or the typical rigors of the most physical sport in the world. 🙄
