    Really?

Ronnie Harmon's drop in the end zone in 1989 followed by Norwide "Wide Right" in 1990's Super Bowl is a little worse I think.

No.  It's definitely not.  You are failing to grasp exactly what would happen in Buffalo if they got jobbed the way the Saints did on Sunday.  Again, dudes drop passes and miss field goals in almost every single NFL game.  Guys do not avoid PI calls while nearly decapitating the intended receiver a full second before a catchable ball arrives, ever.

Not good at math but id rather lose 2 NFC Champ games than 4 superbowls, idk how theres even a comparison.  Id also say "wide right" trumps either of the saints loses

I’m arguing apples, you’re arguing oranges.  Dudes miss 47 yard field goals all the time.  Especially in 1990.  On grass.  With that pressure.  Immaculate receptions, Music City miacles, Minneapolis miracles and the worst non-call in the history of the sport, do not happen often.

Ever since Tom Brady took Reche Caldwell and Jabar Gaffney to the AFC Title Game, I have tended to believe you don't need a superstar WR to be a Playoff team.

When I watch the Playoffs, I think they tend to boil down to Quarterback play and Defense.

So I think its important that the Bills improve the depth, but chasing a true #1 who is "open when he's not open" has not been a fruitful venture for the Bills in the last 5 years.

You do realize that Tom Brady is the greatest football player to ever live, right?

I didn’t want him, I was yelling at the TV for Rosen. My initial fears were that Allen would be EJ 2.0.

I can say today that I’m glad he was the pick and he is fun to watch. He still needs to work on his touch, accuracy and decision making (be willing to check down) but I think we’re going to be set with Josh for a long time.

How refreshing is it to be talking about a Bills QB, like, dude you need to check down more?!?

    This is incorrect.

Right.  So if the Giants have the top-ranked running back as the #1 player on their board at 6 and you’re the Giants, you’d take the running back there?  You think the Chiefs will take a QB if they have one ranked super high when they pick?  Maybe we’ll take a safety.  The hard line “BPA” people are always amusing.  It’s not a thing.  No one actually drafts that way.

  6. I never said he’d be a great QB.  I am a huge Wyoming fan and saw every snap he took in college.  I was merely trying to educate people who had no idea what they were talking about with respect to his college career.  It still annoys me when people say things like “he wasn’t even good in college,” etc.

  7. Am I crazy (I watched the game at a bar with no sound and they definitely never showed the replay), but didn't Allen have a throw to Clay in the first half that may not have been perfect but he totally should have caught it and there was absolutely no one in front of him and he literally may have scored on the play?

James Conner is good. The Steelers' offensive line is the best in the league too. A guy like Lev Bell will improve whichever team he lands on. Shady improved the Bills and was a big part of the season we broke the drought. You can only go to the running backs at a dime a dollar model once you know you have a Quarterback. That said I think the Bills need to get younger at the position and focus their FA money on the line so I am firmly in the draft a running back between the 3rd and the 5th camp too.

Agreed 100%.  I literally said the exact same thing in the FA thread a few hours ago, except I said 4-5th round.

People like me?  Like someone that can back up their own statements? lol

Answer my question. How's the Steelers running game without Bell? Conner doing bad?

And why'd you delete your idiot comment? lol.

Good point!  How’d the Niners do after Montana- they didn’t skip a beat with Steve Young.  And how did the Packers fare after Favre- they didn’t miss anything with Aaron Rodgers.  Hey man, I know you are the resident “running backs aren’t important” guy but did you ever think that maybe James Conner is just good?

I’ll take Paradis and either Rodger Saffold, or Daryl Williams.

im okay with Enunwa, but wouldn’t mind someone like golden Tate.

i also think we should bring back EJ Gainess as a rotational corner.

i also think Jay Ajayi could be a sneaky good pickup to pair with either Shady or someone else.

Do NOT pay another free agent RB when you can just draft one in the 4th-5th round.  That much I feel strongly about.

As far as Tate, tell me I'm wrong but isn't that kind of the player Zay Jones is/could be/is trending toward?  I am all in on trying to trade for and blowing a huge wad on a true #1 stud WR.  Real #1 WR's just do not become available in free agency.  I hesitate to even say it because it sounds like a fantasy but let's trade for a Julio Jones.  If any team has the means to do it, it's the Bills.  That's where I'm at.
