  1. 1. I agree 100% that Fewell was clueless 2. Right from the start when they picked up these free agents for the offensive line I smelled trouble with how big they are. Where did they get the idea that these 330 pound slobs could open up holes? These elephants can't get out of their stance fast enough to get a run block off.
  2. The offensive line has been a serious disapponitment for the money that they spent. Don't they do their homework before they pick up these free agents? But on the same note Lynch is overrated too. He's not one of the premier backs in the league from what I have seen. Reality is that the best back we have had since Thurman Thomas is Travis Henry.
  3. Not really. I'm not trying to stir up anything with what I'm going to say here. This team is night and day with Edwards at the helm vs the Bills with Losman at QB. We don't even know how long Edwards will be out. Edwards is still getting improving and this team will be defined much latter in the season with him at QB, if the expensive offensive line can keep him out of the hospital.
  4. I'll go along with most of that. But I also cannot overlook the obvious, 17 points against Arizona seems putrid. Even that isn't all Losman, the blocking in general and our supposed all pro running back didn't do much either. But the point that I am making with Losman is, expect even less vs good defenses. How do you like the prospect of a Losman lead offense scoring less than 14 in most games? Because that is what scoring only 17 vs Arizona promises. Keep in mind that there are games where you need 30+ points. Does it occur to anyone that if Buffalo puts together some drives, Arizona doesn't score 41 points? To me Arizona looks like one of those teams that is going score big most of the season, in the same mold as Indy and New England in recent years. But they have a poor defense and decent offenses will certainty score more than 17 on Arizona.
  5. Pass rush has been nonexistent for years and for some odd reason they handed huge contracts to DEs that can't get any pressure on the QB.
  6. True. The Bill's turnaround coincides with making Edwards the starter.
  7. They were also on the bench because they failed to sustain drives when they had the ball. The Bill's offense is the first that has failed to kill the Cardinals defense. As the season wears on I think it will become clear that the Arizona defense is swiss cheese and that Buffalo's offense failed to take advantage. Care to challenge that forecast? The best defense is sustaining drives and scoring points.....IE the NY Jets. Arizona moved the ball against NY too, it's clear that they have a powerhouse offense and a porous defense. 17 isn't near enough, you need a shootout to beat them. Best case for the Bill's vs Arizona is ball control sustained drives that score TDs...... think Trent Edwards....they had good reason to make him the starter.
  8. Obviously this loss was in part, Losman's fault, only a fool would say otherwise. With that said, the Bills offense put up only 17 against a defense everyone else has been killing. I think Losman demonstrated why he is on his way out. Even after going through great lengths to insinuate that his lack of production was attributable to the play calling of former coordinators and insinuating that Edwards has the benefit of a competent OC, when Losman got in there he looked like the exact same player he has always been. Already in his 5th year it should be clear by now that there is no more upside, what you see is what you'll get, and it isn't near enough to get the job done. I thought it was comical enough when fans were still saying he had great upside in his 4th year. But they are still on this kick in year #5! Will they be desperately pointing to his supposed upside in his 6th year? How about his 7th year or 8th year? Yes the Bill's defense sucked but 17 points is a failure also.
  9. NOPE 17 points isn't enough against Arizona. If the loss is solely the defense's fault then you must have expected the defense to hold them to under 17. Keep in mind the Jets scored 31 in a quarter against Arizona, so where was Losman and the offense when it came to putting up points?
  10. 1. true 2. true 3. true 4. true 5. get Edwards back in there
  11. JP wouldn't get an extension even if Rob Johnson was the starter.
  12. Well Cutler they could have and should have drafted. You can never have too many good QBs. But you comparing Brees to Garcia is kind of ridiculous Be serious. Garcia has been team hopping and if determined he is a player the Bills could have signed, he's not making Drew Brees money. Next time I mention Garcia or the equivalent you'll be telling me they may as well sign Tom Brady.
  13. If the common denominator was Losman right from the start then the result was bound to be the same with the next coordinator.
  14. I'm not trying to stir up an exchange with you or anything, this is a genuine question: After seeing Losman in (I don't know the exact number of games) 30 games what is it that you expect out of him? Is it so suprising to hear someone say that they don't expect much out of Losman? For me it just sounds logical and honest.
  15. I don't think any of us knows him well enough to say he is a nice guy. And he is not an above average QB, at least not in the NFL he isn't.
  16. If Edwards is out long-term eventually you might turn into a Losman hater after you see the consequence.
  17. Yeah but so what, how many times has Losman pointed the finger at coordinators? I don't see Garcia as some sort of distraction that can't be dealt with. I want a backup like Garcia who I know can put points up. What good is any QB who might be less of a complainer if he can't do the job? If not Garcia they should have found some other vet. You do realize that this season could go from good to bust if Edwards is out long-term?
  18. He'a obviously is done in Buffalo. If it wasn't decided already this game was the straw that broke the camel's back. And the question that I would ask Losman is....You implied that it was the former offensive coordinators JP? Not that he himself lost the game, but he looked like the exact same player he has always been.
  19. Once you catch you breath after all of that ^^^^. Stop and ask yourself what on earth barrack obama knows about the economy. It's amazing to me how fast people get roped in. Liberals barrage the airwaves with a transpaerent smear campaign to denigrate this woman and the herd lines up. Predictable I suppose. Does the average american realize that these are contrived smear campaigns? "It is wonderful to be back in Oregon," Obama said. "Over the last 15 months, we’ve traveled to every corner of the United States. I’ve now been in 57 states? I think one left to go. Alaska and Hawaii, I was not allowed to go to even though I really wanted to visit, but my staff would not justify it."
  20. But they deserve criticism anyways. Look at the money they invested in the offensive line. And what do they have? It's one of two things, either Lynch is way overrated or this line cannot run block. They're not great at pass blocking either.
  21. How about winfield in this game? The two best players on minnesota's defense are free agents from buffalo.
  22. I think everyone agrees that that is why Edwards is in there as the starter.
  23. Thanks for the welcome. I don't know, everyone was putting up points against Arizona. The Jets scored, I think it was 31 in a quarter against them. If this game was against a top defense I'd look at it differently. With the receivers Buffalo has I think Garcia puts up 30+ against Arizona.
