  1. Thing is, the Lions don’t even need this win. Even if they lose, next week is still for the division and the 1 seed because they have the tiebreaker (H2H) over Minnesota. Won’t stop Campbell from putting more players in harm’s way and more plays on film than he needs to, though. We’ll see how this plays out.
  2. And back then it seemed that whenever there were X number of sure-fire blue-chip first-round prospects, our draft position, no matter what it was, was always X+1, and our front office was too incompetent to find the right guy from the rest of the pool (see, e.g., Leodis McKelvin, Aaron Maybin, EJ Manuel, etc.). Which tells me that Daboll knows he's on his way out and that was his FU to the organization.
  3. And only about 7% picked 13 or more, which is what the Bills have.
  4. Remember when people were saying in 2020 that Josh was only successful because he didn’t have to perform in front of crowds?
  5. 1. Because unlike any of those guys, Keon was brought here specifically to win jump balls. In fact, by all reports, Josh lobbied for Keon over the other available WRs (including Worthy) for exactly that reason. None of the guys you mentioned would ever ask Josh to “throw it higher.” Also, that play was on first down. If it had been a third- or fourth-down throw, I bet you wouldn’t have seen any gestures out of Keon. 2. They are not the same; see my post from a few minutes ago.
  6. According to the poll, the team outperformed 95% of expectations from THIS board. Although if you read the GDTs you wouldn’t be surprised by that.
  7. At the risk of prolonging this thread… Some here seem to be comparing Coleman’s “antics” to what Diggs did after the big drop against KC last year. Not the same at all. Diggs’ “so close” gesture was not helpful in any way. Was Diggs saying that he should have caught it? Then he should have tapped his chest in the universal “my bad” gesture instead of being all cryptic (like his tweets). Coleman’s gesture was instant, constructive feedback — and you knew exactly what he was saying. “Throw it higher next time and I’ll Moss this guy.” Not “aw, you ***** up and that’s why I didn’t catch it.” Josh has never had a WR who can win those jump balls. And the next time … Josh did throw it higher, and Keon went up and got it. It’s all good. If it’s a problem, his teammates will speak to Keon about it. Much more important to me is that Josh never shows up his receivers like Rodgers did yesterday.
  8. I don’t like the 1-5 setup unless voters are required to make their votes public. Too much room for someone to put their guy first and drop the other guy down to 3, 4, or even 5.
  9. Undefeated at home for the first time since 1990. That’s insane.
  10. Nice little moment between McD and Tyrod
  11. I was at that game. It was horrible.
  12. Like maybe if they had gone for two against our actual defense?
  13. I don’t know. Seems like an odd time to bring it up is all. But go ahead and grind that ax.
  14. We literally had third-stringers in.
  15. We’re playing our third stringers and the Jets still have all their starters out there except the one who sucked the most today.
  16. Never underestimate the Jets
  17. Tyrod! Man that’s just perfect.
  18. Lamar would have been in there to throw it too.
  19. Look at those ***** hops from Keon
  20. M V P I swear to ***** god with these flags though
  21. Imagine the numbers Josh would have if it wasn’t for the drops and flags.
  22. No stat padding for Josh. He doesn’t need it.
