  1. That ball clearly hit the ground. What a joke.
  2. I believe someone pointed out last night that there was a four-year gap between games that Hochuli officiated for us. Like between 2018-2022. Is that true and if so, what was going on there? And one of his first games back with us was that debacle in Philly in 2023, where he flagged Josh for IG instead of calling RTP. It just seemed like every time they had to make a call against the Pats — especially the blatantly obvious ones where the Pats lost their minds on back-to-back plays roughing Allen and Cook — Hochuli called them together for a lengthier-than-normal conference. Almost like he was hoping to be able to make offsetting calls rather than give the Bills 15. And the one time he DID make an offsetting call, it was on a critical third down to gave the Pats a do-over that they converted … and Hochuli seemed like he was almost smirking when he announced it. Last night not only did Shakir get mugged, but Josh got hit in the head after he threw it. You could see Josh direct an F-bomb in Hochuli’s direction before walking off the field, and I would love to know what else he said. My guess it was along the lines of “what else would we expect from you?” I’m with the people who think the league needs some drama in the division. This was really their only chance at creating it. The Jets have turned out to be a complete tire fire, the Dolphins are donezo (and not even an interesting watch) without Tyreek… so the Pats and Maye were the league’s last chance this year at keeping things “interesting.” It’s not an accident that we got Land Clark and Shawn Hochuli these last two weeks. It’s just not.
  3. Nobody can troll Bills fans quite like Bills fans. Nice job OP
  4. It’s the ultimate “did you read the ***** lyrics or do you just think it and the title sound cool” song, like “Born in the USA.”
  5. We were not “physically whooped.” We gave as good as we got and more. Don’t confuse the Patriots’ not wilting under pressure with us getting “physically whooped.”
  6. The announcers even said “well if he had just come back to the ball…” That’s when I knew the fix was in. Edit before I get flamed: of course I don’t mean a literal fix. But it just seemed odd to me that there always had to be a big conference before even the most obvious penalties were called on the Pats.
  7. Didn’t see it but that reminds me of when we did the same to the Steelers during “Renegade” a few years back. Live by the sword, die by the sword. Also, that song sucks and I’d like to launch it into the sun along with those uniforms.
  8. I don’t know, but apparently a defensive player can be NOT called for DPI in 2025 despite completely blowing him up before the ball gets there.
  9. By “score 30 easily,” I meant score more than 30. And they wouldn’t have kicked that FG at the end, because they would have needed more. it’s not that hard.
  10. We’ve started four rookies by my count this year. This “McD doesn’t play rookies” is one of the biggest canards going. He plays guys when they earn playing time and he doesn’t give a ***** how much service time they have or where they were drafted.
  11. This. Without the last two turnovers we probably score 30 easily and win by double digits, just like last week. People would have still bished about the defense though, because that’s what they do.
  12. But if it bounces into the end zone and doesn’t go out…you have to return it, or risk a turnover and TD. You know, the way the rule was before the league changed it in the middle of the Houston playoff game.
  13. They glossed over it pretty good though. Just like they ignored Diggs not having control before he went out of bounds on that one diving catch, and also managed not to show a clear replay of where the ball was when Maye’s knee hit the ground. That’s the kind of play that usually gets frame-by-frame treatment especially on a national telecast. Not tonight though. And it was like McD knew a challenge would be futile and just result in losing a TO.
  14. Tomorrow their media guys will be saying stuff like “this game will be remembered for 30 years” and “the Bills’ window has closed,” just like they were babbling four years ago.
  15. The realists are up to saying that it’s a long season and every team has a game like this. Most teams that turn the ball over 3 times and have penalties hurt them on almost every drive, offense and defense, lose this game by 30.
  16. Well, the doom-and-gloomers and the Fire McD crowd are certainly happy tonight.
  17. The PI not called at the end of our last drive was what did it. Josh was pretty hot about that.
  18. Dalton Kincaid is looking like a first round draft pick.
  19. If he made a helluva play two years ago we would have been in the SB
  20. ***** you Diggs where was that two years ago
