  1. I knew something like this was coming, I just didn't expect it in response #2. Well done
  2. Wife and I have been in Rochester around 9 years but have rented that whole time in East Rochester. We recently bought a house on the edge of Greece, off Britton road. I had asked the board a while back what are some good Bills bars that had a solid game day pro Bills crowd that went above the others and got turned onto the Bills Backer gathering at Pittsford pub. Just a great scene for the Patriots Saturday game and the playoff game last year, albeit losses. So now I ask what's the spot in Greece. I know all bars will have Bills fans but what bars in the area are a cut above? I realise things will be a little different based on the pandemic. Go Bills, I'll be cheering from a new place later this month!
  3. Um. I wasn't before this thread, but after reading where it's gone i'm kinda less invested in the world...
  4. That's where I'm at. This is normally like Christmas eve for me, but it all just feels wrong. Still excited but it's not the same.
  5. Always thought that should have been the case. The team played pretty inspired ball under him to close out that season if I remember correctly.
  6. I'll take 80s style TV production and announcers over the over exposed hot take graphics fest that NFL TV has currently become any day
  7. No problem with grownups wearing jerseys but yeah, the tucked in Jersey is the worst look in the world. Once saw a dude with a tucked in hockey jersey, ugh. On Another note that kinda ties into this subject, I hate it when someone wears clothing from two different sports simultaneously. IE: Bills jersey, Mets hat at the same time.
  8. Ugh...THAT game...was still living in the ADKs and bartending. Bunch of annoying Jets (and Giants) fans were at the bar, snowmobilers. Bills sucked but AT LEAST I'd have some bragging rights that day. Went to the kitchen to grab someone's wings or whatever are heard an explosion of cheers and laughter. I wanted to walk right out the kitchen door and drive home.
  9. I'll see that an raise. Eric Moulds is the best receiver in Bills history (sorry Andre). Put him with Kelly and wow.
  10. Thanks for the info. Think I'll give DTV a shot. Not ready to stream everything yet, seems like a lot of work to manage what I want (we do use Hulu, amazon and netflix for certain shows) At the very least I'll get a year or two (whatever the contract is) cheaper than what I'm paying Spectrum now.
  11. I'll begin: The early 2000's Jerseys, including the roads aren't as bad as everyone says. Great? Heck no. Current and everything prior blows them away but I still kinda liked them. What's everyone else got?
  12. The wife and I just bought a house and the closing date is Sept 25. Once we move I think I'm gonna finally ditch spectrum and give Direct TV a shot. 2 questions, A) is it a given that they will offer Sunday Ticket as I will be a new customer or do I have to ask for it and B) how often is weather really an issue?
  13. And you know there will be the occasional slip up when someone hits the wrong button...Jets interception, crowd cheers! But in Buffalo? ?
  14. Just a terrible look.. Cut outs behind home plate, CGI when plays go to the outfield and clearly empty stands behind the picture when the camera focusses on him. It is what it is, just play the games and don't make a cartoon of it.
  15. Schein is a Syracuse boy that's been hot on the Bills for a while. Because of those two things he could kick a baby and I'd look the other way...
  16. I'm glad your son will be ok. Above all else of course is the well being of our loved ones, as you know my post is only looking at this as a Bills/football fan. With that said I don't miss the bigger, more important picture for one second.
  17. At the Raiders, blown call by a ref late.
  18. Just a horrible thing to have to hang over our heads. I'm a huge Bills fan (obviously) and an NFL fan...I'm also a huge Syracuse basketball and NCAA hoops fan...Having that season end right at the best time of year in March was awful. Now I might have to deal with it all again with our beloved Bills....Oh, and there may be no college hoops again. Covid can $@#! Off.
  19. Covid stinks. We agree I'm sure. Not being able to go to the stadium stinks...The fact that August hasn't been a month long Christmas Eve for me this year, as it's always been, stinks....But man, I fear and would hate nothing more that the season having the rug pulled out from under it if they have to shut it down. It's truly a dark cloud over one of my favorite things in life. A small part of me wishes they'd just call it and say "see ya next year when (if) it's all normal again". ...with that said of course I want and eagerly look forward to the season...I just can't shake that awful thought of the Bills being like 6-1 and having the season not conclude. Ugh.... Fingers crossed we get a full one in.. finger friggen crossed. Go Bills.
  20. First Bills game I ever attended. Was still living in the ADKs then and had family in the Boston area. I would have been 12 or 13. Father took the the family out to visit our relatives. for a long weekend On Sunday my Dad, uncle and I drove up to see the game. I remember just being in awe as I walked up to my first NFL stadium. That and I remember there being so many Bills fans there. When we went up 24-7 I had the slightest pang of pity for the Patriot father and his young son sitting in front of us. And then it all fell apart. I was so upset I hardly talked the whole way back to Boston or whatever suburb my relatives lived in then.
  21. Did the jetski have the word "playoffs" written on the side?
