  1. I noticed that too Promo. Can't have that
  2. Good eye. I completely missed it. Omit that part of the first post. The overall premise of my rant remains!
  3. You are better than i. It is honestly effecting my enjoyment of football my favorite sport. Bear with my venting as my annoyance boils over. Back to that play...the DT flinched which then caused the LT to flinch and the DE jumped?
  4. Apparently I am not. I didn't record this game so I can't go back And will take you at your word. I didn't see the DT move. I saw the LT flinch and the DE jump into him.
  5. They showed highlights today of nearly identical plays over the past few years where recievers "gave themselves up" but in those cases and they were ruled a fumble. I don't know how the rule is written and nor do I care to look it up, but what we saw yesterday was not how the situation has EVER been called in the past. They need to remove some of the subjectivity ... And far too often the refs are not managing the games but are affecting the outcomes...
  6. It is almost no longer fun. How do you call a personal foul for a WR knocking a man twice his size on his butt!? Granted it was behind the play... But this is no longer football. Head on a swivel
  7. Don't you replay the down with offsetting penalties? Shouldn't it be 3rd down? Btw even the announcers have commented on the officiating with a couple of brief quips.
  8. Second play from scrimmage. Missed call #1 clear flinch and false start by the left tackle. Called a neutral zone infraction. No mention by the commentators...
  9. I enjoyed this. Seconded. Tripled and Quadrupled
  10. Any given Sunday. Anything can happen... That said, I do not see it happening this week...against the Bungles ....in front of 35k strong. Go Bills!
  11. Absolutely it should be addressed, and judgement calls are tough. I thought that was I clean hit. If the NFL is worried about receiver safety as they rightfully should be, then they should regress to less of a passing league contrary to what they are doing. Rules governing what DBs were permitted to do years ago would discourage passing and protect receivers. I just don't want football to turn into a track meet.
  12. Apparently you are no longer allowed to hit WRs at all. The NFL is ruining the game of football. I remember when QBs had to take into account where they were throwing to in order to protect the receivers. Seriosusly, your not even allowed to hit a guy in the shoulder anymore to separate them from the ball!?
  13. I think that Spiller may finally have a big day catching passes on slants out of the slots and on screens.
  14. I was there. It seemed loud at times, but not overly loud
  15. Media interest stems from winning (mostly). Newton performed well and won in college so he was star. You are right that his Moxie helped. But winning was his biggest advantage. If Fitz keeps putting up solid numbers and winning he will garner plenty of media interest as the underdog QB who persevered or the intelligent Harvard grad etc...etc..
  16. I don't see Denver taking Newton in that scenario. But who knows. Time will tell against Newton anyways. He had one good game against a horrid pass defense.
  17. Hard to say. Maybe he had potential until Jauron fried his brain. Or maybe it was the hit in the AZ game that did that...who knows...I'm just glad he is gone.
  18. I'm not saying the Turk Schonert was good. But honestly, what OC could have success under Dick Jauron? Personally, as far as tomorrow goes, I think we will be seeing a lot of screens to the backs, WRs and TE's. As well as a lot of misdirection and bootlegs to offset the strength of the Raiders d-line.
  19. Awesome! Have a great night! I will be making the annual pilgrimage from Rochester tomorrow morning.
  20. I want that time of my life back. The coolest part was the drawings. That being said. I completely agree with you, I would much rather have Fitzpatrick (aka Fitz, Fitzy, Fitzbeard, Fitzbeardy, Grizpatrick, Fitzgibbons, Fitzmagic, Amish Rifle) as my QB.
  21. Reminds me of the guy in Poltergeist II.
  22. I have always parked by G8 in Lot 3. Given the new parking rules, I won't be going back there. To my understanding, the Tundra lot (5B) will not be "Disney Parking". Are you able to enter that lot through drive 5 in the early morning? Any info would be appreciated. I am looking for a new tailgating home....
  23. Without question it was the right move cutting the guy. Let Rex have his next pet project (The Ghoulston project worked so well). If Maybin ends up doing anything I will eat my crow and have a good cry.
  24. If I were king they would play topless or not at all. Seriously though, this could be amusing.
