  1. I sure am. He is not afraid to call garbage garbage. He is not afraid to call incompetents incompetents. His blunt and harsh style sometimes can get tiresome but in general he is right in categorizing the Bills' organization as being dysfunctional. How can anyone disagree with something so obvious?

It's not about the critic. It's about the product.

We like to kill the messenger around here.

  2. Good luck, Trent. You never boasted about being the best, it wasn't you who told Marv Levy that you'd be the second coming of Joe Montana, that was Bill Walsh. Sorry about the jokes I made about you. Go be a great lawyer or something now. Peace.

  3. One mo' time, when Brady scrambles for the first down, pay attention to the Bills pass rusher who gets tackled. You could hear a call from the sideline: "Hold!".

You're gonna get a ton of replies to the effect of "That was one time", or "Isolated incident"....

The fact is, that was the most blatant example, but it happened all day long.

  4. I'm not sure why [almost] everyone's so quick to declare Fitz isn't the answer. I'm not saying he is, but he's made steady improvement over his career. If I'm not mistaken he's started just under 2 full seasons worth of games. Last year he had a winning record on a 6-10 team and showed dramatic improvement on the team this week. Maybe with a strong line, big-time receivers, and a little more experience Fitz could be one of the better QBs in the league.

I'm kinda with you on this one. If the Bills decided to forego the top QBs in the next draft and get the most amazing pass rushers and run stuffers for the D-Line and LB corps, instead, and kept Fitz/Brohm as the duo, I wouldn't bet at ALL upset.

  5. Well according to you i am stupid, but the Bills decided to settle for three and by games end the Pats scored 38; so who is stupid. As if going for it with 4th and inches would have been such a bad decison. If you are too stupid, and i mean stupid, to understand what a bad decision that was, then stay off of this board

    You're on PCP, admit it.

  6. Chris Kelsay is well deserving of a big contract extension.

He is obviously well respected among players and coaches, as he is a multiple time team captain selection.

He has never been an off the field issue, he doesn't complain, and provides solid veteran leadership.

Even if you don't think he is an elite player, the fact is the Bills have to play someone at outside linebacker. Look at the other outside linebackers on the team - Ellis, Torbor, and Maybin? It's not realistic to cut the entire group in one offseason.

You have to pay somebody to pay outside linebacker for the Buffalo Bills, so it might as well be a good, hard working guy like Chris Kelsay.

 No effing way does he deserve an extension. Not unless he takes a third of the pay he's getting now. Wait, no. A fourth the pay.

  7. I don't believe it is "acceptable" to any Bills fan. But I believe one-whine-fits-all chants of "a loss is a loss" or "the Bills suck and will always suck", etc are far dumber, if you are really trying to evaluate the team and its future. Clearly there are some posters here who seem incapable of ever diagnosing and fixing an problem because they would simply throw something away if it didn't work perfectly, or replace everyone associated with a losing performance. IMO, the best approach is to try to honestly evaluate what works, what doesn't and why.

The problem with the team the past two weeks, and honestly the past few years, is it has been hard to figure out what parts are worth keeping, what parts are improving, what parts have potential, etc. If the Bills continue to lose, but do it like they did today, those observations might be a bit easier to make. You really can't tell if a WR is any good if the QB can't/won't get the ball to him, for example.

Should I assume you will continue to take shots at the die-hard Bills fans who will continue to talk about the ups and downs of the team, criticize, praise, find room for improvement when they win (someday!) find silver linings in hard fought losses? I mean why not? It's really easy to do, requires virtually no effort or thought.

    BURNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNED!!! :worthy:

  8. this is like the fiftieth time ive responded to a post like this, but how was it nelson's fault? it was way high and behind him.

and to answer: fitz threw two terrible, terrible passes that got intercepted. especially the first one that should have been a TD or near-td.

Yeah no ****, you even laughed at me in the game thread, as if you're the only one who was watching the play and it went the way you described it. I saw a ball fly less then two feet over Nelson's head and Nelson not even TRYING to jump for it. You think you're right? Say so. But quit trying to make us all think you are right and we're wrong, because that's annoying the piss outta me now.
