  1. Whoever signed Kelsay to that contract should be fired ASAP!

This clown had the edge on the sweep play and was completely pinned to the inside and allowed an easy flow to his edge. No wonder he was taken out on third down.

So this clown cant cover, cant rush the passer, cant play the run, but can make more than 100k a week!!!

    Wow

My math might be off, but I think it's closer to $500,000 a game.

  2. Anybody here ever get a raise at work. How much harder do you work? Dont have a problem locking up Kelsay. Rebuilding people! Keep the top of what you got and unload the rest. If he has a stronger supporting staff he is a better player.

You're just the guy I have been looking for to sell my broken toaster to for $1000.

  3. This years crop of QB's does not rank a low #1-#3 selection in the draft.

There is no Peyton Manning, Sam Bradford, John Elway.

I hate to ruin your plans but the Bills don't need to lose to move up in the draft.

Truth is I would take Fitzpatrick or Brohm over any of these guys. :flirt:

That is both enlightening and simultaneously meaningless to me. Because if the Bills simply use the next draft to improve the pass rush DL, run stopping DL, and all the LB positions, I'd be more than happy to wait another year for the Superman QB.

  4. Edwards, Hardy, and Mitchell are gone. I call that progress.

I do, as well. Now if only I could say the same with the Kelsay re-signing. But I can't. That move, alone, makes me wonder about Nix's ability to think straight. I almost guarantee that the Kelsay re-signing was Ralph's idea, and if I'm right, Nix just siomply allowed Ralph to make that decision and not risk his paycheck to tell Ralph where to stick it. If that's the case, this team is no better offf with Nix at the helm than we were with anybody else.

  5. Anyone who isn't skeptical of Nix is desperate and dishonest.

The mere fact that Kelsay has reportedly been offered an extension for $24 million should make the biggest homers puke in their mouth a little bit.

The biggest indictment of Nix for me was his draft day decisions. Picking small school projects was first. Not drafting an O lineman early on was second. Ignoring the pass rush..passing on Ob's ... meanwhile #2-7 are all sitting on the bench while #1 gets less than 10 touches per game. On a talent depleted team this is unacceptable...well at least to the realists it is.

The absolute acceptance of this guy comes from fans who have the blank stare of a circus animal and the denial mentality of a battered wife. :bag:

I gotta say, this is extremely difficult to disagree with. Re-signing Chris Kelsay as a LB is the !@#$ing most retarded idea this front office could ever have, and it's still jaw-droppingly shocking to me that it's being seriously considered at OBD. If he gets re-signed, I WILL puke in my mouth and immediately think of Buddy Nix as the dumbest GM in pro sports.

  6. The Bills should look at this upcoming draft, in my opinion, like a competition between QBs and defensive linemen. If the better pick in the draft when it comes time for the Bills to pick is a D-lineman, they'd be silly to take the QB. Again, just my opinion, but I look at last game as the perfect example. Kyle Williams is the only guy on the D-Line who we should look at keeping around for anything more than a backup role. We have no pass rush whatsoever and can't stop the run. We need linebackers, as well, but I might pick a QB over a linebacker in that first round, unless the LB is some superman that EVERYBODY thinks is going to shine. And by everybody, I mean other teams, not just ours.

Lastly, if they let Ralph anywhere NEAR the Draft Room this coming offseason, I'm following another team from that day forward. Maybe even Miami. That's how much I hate Ralph Wilson's decisionmaking over the last three or four decades.

  7. The only thing I'd argue is that there weren't really any available QBs this off-season that would make a good long-term option for the Bills; well, maybe outside of Sam Bradford. Florio could be 100% right on this one, or it could be that the Bills saw the same thing I did: Outside of Bradford, this wasn't a good year to pick up a franchise QB.

We'll see what happens in the next off-season.

But what are NEXT draft's QBs really like? I saw that Mallett meltdown against 'Bama and if they go for him, they're taking a huge risk. What about the other QBs in this coming draft, are THEY the ones to go for with the first pick? Or are there some really awesome pass rushers, run stuffers, Centers or Left Tackles that would be better options?

How crazy will this place be if the Bills don't pick a QB early NEXT season, either? I won't necessarily be that upset, so long as the guys they pick for the lines show more upside.
