Ok, you said you wait in line the previous day for a couple of hours and get the tickets around midnight. What time should you get in line to assure yourself tickets? Does everyone in line get tickets? You also said the next day they give out tickets randomly. To who? People that don't already have them? What about tickets for the subsequent draft days? Is that what you were talking about? I must admit I was having second thoughts until you posted your response. Now I am more excited and committed than ever. I apologize for not cut and pasting your response or pm' ing you but I am responding from my droid and it's more difficult. Any other advice, information would be greatly appreciated.

I am seriously considering attending the draft this year. My question is " has anyone attended in the past? " I have actually written the NFL and Radio City Music Hal and got this response: "The NFL had instructed us to inform guests that, as in past years, tickets will be distributed on a "first come, first served" basis. The exact date and times for the wristband distribution process will be announced by the NFL in early April. Fans can visit NFL.com our RadioCity.com at that time." From what I understand they do not sell or distribute tickets in advance. You have to stand in line the actual draft day you wish to attend and they are distributed first come/first serve. How difficult is it to actually get tickets on draft day? How much in advance do you have to stand in line? Is demand greater than tickets? Are a lot of fans turned away? I would like to know as much as possible before I arrange travel plans and then am unable to get tickets. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If someone is knowledge about the area and knows of some reasonable hotels that would be helpful as well. I am hoping to be there to see the Bills select Dareus or Quinn. Also how many actual fans are admitted? How much seating is there available for fans?

Does anyone know what is the real issue with Aaron Maybin is? Why he doesn't play in games, and may possibly even be cut? Like many of you I did not want to draft him, and I have watched every game he has played in as a Bill. But what is the underlying reason why? Why he has sometimes not even dressed for games? Does anyone have any insider information? Is it because he is too light? Too weak? Not intelligent? Has no heart, desire, drive? Has no mean streak? Doesn't care? Unable to grasp new position? Doesn't understand scheme? Or he just can't play football or isn't a football player? I am just curious to know if there is any chance for the problem to ever be corrected. Possibly with added weight, weight training, coaching, or even possibly a mentor like Merriman. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

I realize these are just opinions from fans, but after checking various message boards of both the Panthers and the Broncos it seems the consensus draft choices are: CAROLINA: A.J. Green Da'Quan Bowers or Cam Newton DENVER: Da'Quan Bowers Robert Quinn Patrick Peterson or trade down and obtain J.J. Watt. Most fans actually want to trade down. And they are really high on Watt. This is interesting because neither teams fans seem to be interested in Nick Fairley or Marcell Dareus or believe they are fits for their teams. After watching as many games and players as possible this year and last I have come to the conclusion that I would like the Bills to draft: Rd. 1 Marcell Dareus Alabama and Rd. 2 Courtney Upshaw Alabama ( earlier than his current ranking but he will be a game changer ) Rd. 3 RT possibly Matt Reynolds BYU as he has played both LT and RT in college I think both Alabama players who would immediately help our defense. Some other players I would consider for the 1st round are: 1. Nick Fairley 2. Da'Quan Bowers and 3. Robert Quinn I think they all have tremendous potentional as well. Our #1 priority has to be to increase our run defense and our pass rush. I realize a lot of people on this board want to draft a 1st round quarterback. Believe me, I love Andrew Luck as much as anyone. I have for awhile and I was one of the ones who actually wanted the Bills to lose out so we would be able to get him. But the simple fact remains that he will not be available when we draft either because he will decide not to come out or he will be taken by Carolina or Denver. The other quarterbacks avaliable are not worthy of a 3rd pick selection. I believe that the "NET" improvement to the team would be greater taking a defensive player as there is a bigger gap in skill between the defenders we have now and the players listed above than there is between Ryan Fitzpatrick and any other rookie QB's. Contrary to a lot of opinion on this board, Ryan Fitzpatrick is a good quarterback. He is intelligent, mobile, and a leader who the players want to follow. There are some issues with accuracy and turnovers but I believe those will be corrected with improved offensive line play which will also help the running game. Nix will NOT take a quarterback in the first round. Our sack total was ranked 28th, our run defense was ranked 32nd, and we have arguably the worst linebackers in the league. Another quick point, I have decided. I do not want the Bills to draft Dontay Moch or Tank Carder. I know a lot of posters really like Moch because of his straight ahead speed. But what I get from watching him is he cannot change direction and is very tight in the hips. He almost looks unathletic, or like a frankenstein to me. We already have that in Poz, I do NOT want another. Carder has a 3rd round linebacker grade but I just don't see it. I want legitimate athletes on this team. Granted this could be changed if the Bills are able to aquire David Harris or Paul Soliai.

Ok, I'm confused. I added up the wins and losses for opponents of Cincy and the Bills. Cincy opponents are 131-107 ( .550 winning percentage ) Bills opponents are 139-100 ( .582 winning percentage ). Cincy opponents have 2 more games this week. Bills opponents have 1 more game. I'm not absolutely sure if divisional opponents are supposed to be added once or twice. I added them twice. If this is the case we are far behind Cincy in the tie breaker and they would pick before us. Does anyone know if divisional opponents are added once or twice? This means that at the moment we pick 4th. 1. Carolina 2. Denver 3. Cincy 4. Bills

I'm not desperate at all for wins, nor do I wish to sacrifice the entire season before it's played. My question is simple. How good will the bills be? And are the quarterbacks this year better or worse than the ones next year? Is it a better choice to draft a tackle, a linebacker, or a nose guard who may be rated higher than to reach for a quarterback who will probably be running for his life and get killed this year because there are no tackles on the team. It is difficult to learn, progress, or get better laying on your back. As far as the post: You play to win the game. I can see developing a draft strategy based on giving Trent another chance or using Brohm as a fall back. If neither pans out you can draft your QB next year. But going into a season and developing a draft strategy for this year with the idea that your team is so bad you will be able to get the top QB or any position next year is asinine. If you feel you need a QB to be successful this year, then you get a QB. I'm not planning the Bills draft at all. In fact I'm just sitting in my kitchen in front of my laptop. I won't be in NYC on draft day, I won't be in the Bills war room, nor will I be the one making the Bills picks. I'm not even hoping that the Bills do poorly or asking them to throw the season. In fact I want them to win. I'm asking for my own personal knowledge. What I'm asking is again simple. Will we be better or worse next year? What will our record be? Will we be in a position, no matter how unenviable to draft a franchise quarterback. The fact that you think my questions are asinine puzzles me. You feel if we need a QB to be successful this year, then you get a QB. Really? At the cost of the rest of the teams needs? Why didn't they get McNabb? He didn't want to come here? Please. My question was how does he compare to the QB's next year, and if not well maybe the better alternative would be to take the best player available. I would much rather have a Patrick Willis, or Michael Oher, or Haloti Ngata than be forced to take a QB because you deem it the only way to be successful this year. I'm not looking for arguments.
