On Monday I had the thought that this what they should wear. Then I remembered this is the “cursed” combo. Anyways, it seems like the right uniforms for the boys to take into Chicago and come home w a W. No serious injuries please!

I trust our coaches and they have much more exposure to the players. There must be something going on during practice and game install which makes Jackson appear like he deserves snaps. During the game Elam’s skills pop off the screen, Jackson is another Levi Wallace, great guy w/ average skills but knows the system.

Not disagreeing about Lewis but if no one has mentioned it yet, the contest for most idiotic play in the last two years stopped accepting nominations at about 7:15 PM yesterday. Spoiler alert: Lewis lost the contest.
Hoping the Pats lose more games in similar fashion and we start referring to it as “what a Patsie way to lose a game”

Why do we need to criticise him? He's a PS player. He's going to make these mistakes and get beat. What do you expect? No reason to dwell on it.
When Cam plays in a game he isn’t a PS player. Also, there is another vet on the roster in Dean Marlowe who could perform the same duties on ST and as a reserve DB.

Containing Fields running the ball has to be the Bills top priority. The guys legs are special. No small task. Montgomery is a much better version of Motsert. I thought the Bears game would be a relatively easy wins a few weeks ago. Not anymore.
Bills game plan typically is to make a team one dimensional. Can Fields pass the ball successfully enough to force the Bills to respect it?

Every year this blow up in your face. Every year…
Is he going to come back and face the music? And why does he keep up the charade and say “we” and try to pretend he is a Bills fan?

Morse has been very vocal about the amount of concussions and how he approaches his health. I have no idea how severe this injury was and I hope he is resting easy. He has doctors he consults with for his health both now and long term, Morse will listen to them and do what’s best for him and his family. Morse is a very smart guy who understands life is bigger than football. His brothers story taught him that.
Having said all that, I hope Mitch is ok, as anyone can tell you who has had one, they aren’t fun.

Just checked in on our friends over at Finheaven. This was the best comment:“Tua outplayed Allen again but of course the media will suck off the chosen one all week”
Did you bump into @FilthyBeast?

D line looks soft so far.

If a D is giving you those 5-9 yd passes there's nothing wrong with taking them. They can be a critical part of our game plan. I don't like marching down the field with 5 yd passes, but those successes will open up the running game as well as the occasional deep ball.
Yep. Bease could help in a ton of ways. I keep thinking about how the Bills run game and play action will allow him to sit down and get 6-8 yards on first or second down, or the clutch catch on third downs. Hope he has enough juice for 7 wins.

Google. It's a thing.
Loved seeing Hojo quoted in the article.

Bobby Hart plays a reasonable amount of snaps as the extra lineman in the “jumbo” formation. I don’t think at this point he is going anywhere.

Yeah those famous snow games in the SEC.
It does get cold down here. Nothing like the Northeast, but games in the 30’s and 40’s do happen. Don’t forget Missouri and Kentucky are in the SEC.

I had to check Tua's game logs for how many games he played in "cold" weather.
https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/T/TagoTu00.htm
He has played in 3.
1st- 35 degrees in 2020 season in Buffalo. Defense subbed 2nd string later in game. 56-26. We all remember that beat down.
2nd- 43 degrees in last year's Titans game. Dolphins lost 34-3. Tua had a horrible game.
3rd- 45 degrees in 2020 against Denver. Dolphins lost 20-13.
Had a 58-degree game against the CHI this year. Dolphins won 35-32.
What's that forecast again?
FWIW.
Sounds like 55 degrees is the sweet spot for making Tua uncomfortable.
Joking, I’m sure he played in cold games while in college and did well. -

Tyreek Hill showing his true colors...me first
As much as that seems like a “me first” mentality, it also displays a lack of awareness. I am not doubting he wanted out, but I think the Chiefs wanted him out just as much if not more due to the new contract he wanted.

Some of you I want to ask a question: Do you care more about being right (about a player being bad) or watching your team win?
As it stands today none of us know what Beasley will provide for production. The people who have all the information think this is a good move to make. I like the GM and coaches recognizing there a situation that needs to be addressed. Good for them for not sitting on their hands or trying to deny there is an issue. You want to live in the past and rehash how we got here? Go ahead, that is your luxury as a fan. I think a healthy approach which makes me feel better is that this could help Josh and the offense. What Beasley does is find spots in zone coverage, and Beasley always has had good hands. If either one of those traits has left completely, then Beasley will not be w/Buffalo for long and the team is in no different a spot then before.

Unless he gained 200 pounds and can play on the right side of an offensive line, I don’t see any desire to bring him back.
Yes I liked his highlights, too. But he has gone downhill and was cut from a practice squad for christs sake. And he has specifically said he didn’t like Buffalo.
Bease is an emotional dude, I bet he says a lot of things that later he wishes he had said differently or not at all.
The oline is a reason why we need someone who can find the quick opening in a defense for Josh to throw too.If he meets with the team and they think it’s a good fit, I’m all for it.

Expecting a PFF article on how he is better than Josh any minute.

I will be shocked if Elam doesn’t start or at least get a ton of snaps against Miami. Elam’s strength is press man coverage, which goes well against Miami’s wideouts. Elam is the fastest DB on the Bills. Need his speed going against Hill and Waddle.

Yeah, to me, it isnt a roof vs no roof debate... That Northtowns stadium location idea seems interesting if for no other reason than to get the thing away from the snow belt
100%. I wonder if anyone considered this aspect during the site selection.

I don't think they're going to look silly. If we had a dome in 2014 and a few weeks ago, we couldn't have played the game.
You are right. Now, if they had moved the stadium closer to the city then maybe.

He had no meaningful snaps until 17 days ago. He is working into game shape while also learning to trust his knee. The psychological piece is important and with each snap it will improve. He should be hitting his stride during the playoffs.

Week 16: Bills at Bears on Christmas Eve
in The Stadium Wall
Posted
This is one week where the other teams QB rushes for more than Josh. Bills have typically been good at taking away a teams strength and making them beat you with another area. I suspect the Bills will try to contain Fields, stop the run, and make the Bears beat them with the pass. From everything I have read and seen, Fields strength is the long ball and he has struggled at times with the short “touch” passes (sound familiar to anyone we know’s first year or two?). The weather could possibly help the Bills.
