  1. The only positive from yesterday is that Washington got a victory over Dallas with a new quality HC and A quality experienced QB disproving all this .."well we need to develop" and "we're a couple seasons away". All we needed was something we didn't get...something we put up billboards to convey. But what the hell do we know, we're just the piss poor fans of this BS franchise.

  2. Ralph may want to win but he lacks a burning desire to win- as for the RBs they are ok but get overrated by Bills fans for the same reason Average looking chicks get overrated in a bar full of ugly.

This isn't Zen it's football, we were promised something and never got it, Bamboozled. Yesterdays loss was set in motion the minute Nix took the podium, the minute Gailey was hired and the second Gailey decide that TE was the QB. As for Ralph I have it on good authority that the team has already been sold and the binding factor is Ralph must assume room temperature. Low salaries help keep profits up to make the team more appealling. It's not about winning to the owners...it's about money. Ralph already has it and when he dies the Bills will be playing in one of the three NFL style stadiums being built right now as we speak. Two on the west coast and one in mid west.

well the game plan appeared to be throw ball to free up the run however when you have a QB that shouldnt have the ball for any other purpose than to handoff to RB's this is what ya get. Trent couldnt even complete a simple screen pass on first play of the game. All attempts to get 9 out of the box fail when captain checkdown wont even throw the ball

I was at the game, recievers were open, the ball was never delivered. Trenative Checkwards is afraid and lacks arm strength.

  4. WGR550's Schopp and the Bulldog today were saying that you had to go backwards to go forwards. I think that is idiotic. Did Washington go backwards, did Miami go backwards, did the Jets go backwards. The answer is NO. It takes a good GM, which we haven't had in a decade or so, and a quality coach, which we also haven't had in more than a decade, to recognize the weaknesses and fill as many as you can and then plan around the ones you have left. You go to war with your best 22 players every year. This isn't our parents NFL, you don't build a franchise over 3-5 years and then hope to make a run for Superbowl, you do it now. We have all been fooled again by King Ralph..good GM...not, good coach...not, good QB...definitely not. Levy Brown is the only answer at QB because I have seen enough of the other village idiots to know that they offer nothing. :D

  5. Wanting to give a guy a chance to succeed is blind optimism?

I guess all great players in the NFL were great right from the start?

No. Blind optimism is watching a team do nothing in the off-season to make this team better and then reading people who think things will be better just because DJ is gone. Be real, they have to prove that they are going to be +500. We can't will it to happen. Make no mistake I want this team to do well , very well, but there are no indications of that. Watch how well Washington does this year. Look what Parcells did in one year for Miami...IT CAN HAPPEN. ITS BEEN MORE THAN A DECADE.

  6. It really is, especially in the Bills' situation, new coaches, switching to the 3-4 with only a few players that have experience, a whole new offense, and some new players. We really have no idea what this team will look like. We'll get a glimpse Friday.

I agree. What bothers me is they made zero positive steps in the off-season to even get me excited 1%

  7. My point is everyone is so quick to bury a kid who played at the highest level of his profession at 21. I wasn't a huge fan of the pick, but besides Whitner, I've never seen fans want to destroy this kid. Anything Maybin does, people want to hate him for it.

Maybe it's my fault, but I thought Bills fans were better than that. IT almost seems liek there is a group of fans hoping Maybin fails so they can say they were right about it on a message board. I think 10 or 20 years ago, fans weren't as irrational and so quick to insult.

I would love him if he would make a play that 1st rounder should make. I hear he is being handled at SJF by first year O-linemen.

Let me guess..He's still a rookie. (JP was a rookie for four years)

This is a stupid question since none of us have any real idea of what this team will be doing once the season starts. Based on the GB game we are going 0-16. Based on the Bears game we are making the playoffs. I predict something between the two. How's that for honesty?

  10. Agreed. That's why they call them predictions. I am starting out with the team that ended 2009 6-10, looking at was is different at this point in 2010, and feel confident they are improved. Two big veteran losses (Schobel & T.O.) but much better coaching, better camp, and some exciting prospects in the rookie class. O-line not great but has to be better than grabbing guys off the street like last year. QB's no worse than last year. I'll stick to 9-7 but 8-8 is more realistic.
