  1. In less than 10 posts you've bashed gays, Mexicans and people who have different ideas than your own.

That's not me calling you a bigot, that's the dictionary calling you a bigot.

which dictionary? the berkley dictionary. you , you red statephobe. Bashed, not. spoke the truth, yes. And i know the truth hurts. truth dosen't make it bashing. boo-hoo tgregg is getting defensive. now I am tgregg bashing to where is that in websters.

  2. Add xenophobia to the checklist.

Wow, you're just an angry little man, aren't you? You need a hug. Or to get laid. One or the other.

Oh, and I got 100 bucks says the picnic table fu*ker was a registered republican.

again, is that the best you got. angry liberals turn to name calling losing sight of the facts. hence two and soon to be three lost presidential races. little man. not. need a hug, beautiful wife right beside me. check. or to get laid, see prior. you got one hundred dollars in calf. come on. that freak was to busy gerkin to register so a dem bus came and took him for soup and a sandwich and them to register. :D

  3. I knew it! nondiscursive language is a sure sign of a submersive vermin who can't and won't make a visable connection between the two. Paranoia? did you just want to add that one? the rest of your list is childish. what part of this makes me a bigot? I can't wait for your left coast response. :D

oh yeah. it's guys like this that built this country and give you the freedom to be a freak loving freak.

  4. HOLY COW. <_<

Let's tally up the checklist for Mr. Da Big Man, shall we?

    1. Homophobia (check)

    2. Closed mindedness (check)

    3. Paranoia (check)

    4. Grandstanding a cause which has no relation to the topic (check)

    5. Irrational logic (check)

Yup ... looks like he's one or two posts away from being a class 1 bigot.

It's guys like this that are FAAAAR more dangerous than picnic table fu*kers.

I knew it! nondiscursive language is a sure sign of a submersive vermin who can't and won't make a visable connection between the two. Paranoia? did you just want to add that one? the rest of your list is childish. what part of this makes me a bigot? I can't wait for your left coast response. :D

  5. Someone who sees it as a danger to society, yes. Someone who sees that and goes, "lock the fu*ker up for the rest of his natural born life", yes.

The normal reaction would be to laugh.

Lets say it was you mother who had to watch this jacka$$ on his back porch. then what ?

  6. You said:

"let me quess liberal public schools,"

I'm also trying to figure out how the WTO and NAFTA have anything to do with deviant activity. :( You claim you have a degree, but I guess it was in a school that doesn't teach spelling, grammar, or even how to write a compelling argument.

just trying to type as fast as I can to keep up with you people who are defenders of the liberal ideology. wto and nafta are just one of the many ways that you and every closet liberal dem like you weaken this country, just like not seeing the real problem about this self gratifying table f'er. a small piece of a much larger problem. oh yeah I didn't know we were graded on spelling :D thank God that a republican will be voted into office. you said liberal arts, I am talking liberal political affiliation. but I am sure you already knew that, thats what I like about you, your attention to detail <_<

  7. Let me know where in that chapter it says that masterbation using inanimate objects escalates into rape and murder and we'll talk, m'kay?

And it's funny that you're bitching to tgregg about a liberal arts degree, and yet you're taking psych. :D

Another genius!!! show me where iI was bittchin to tgregg about a degree. read much?

  8. You want to kill a guy for jerking his gherkin in an odd way? People like you are utterly frightening.

to all you liberal dems. over the past 20 years I have watched jobs go over seas and will and grace become a successful program. I have a college degree and still work in the blue collar sector. I have watched towers fall. this country has fallen far from grace. from clinton signing nafta and putting china on the most favored nation status with the wto. now our gov of ny state has recognized gay marriages and has given them all the rights and privleges there in. how many more abnormal and deviant behaviors are you willing to accept. how many rights are you willing to give up so that subcultures can be accepted. hell! lets make pedifilia legal. it's someones right isn't it. this man deserves to be made an example of, plain and simple. heres an idea, air the footage in his hometown like the police do for men who frequent prostitutes. Oh yeah, and believe it or not I like dirty one on one anything goes heterosexual sex. :D God Bless America, there is still hope . One man alone can't get it done, together we can move mountains.

  9. Now you're stretching.

He moved close to an elementary school? No. His house is just NEAR an elementary school. That is soooooo not the same thing. Who cares what he does in his own home so long as he's not injuring anyone. There are lots of freaks in the world, and most of them are anything but dangerous.

But you're right. Let's hold a public hearing on picnic table abuse. Let's flush more of the citizen's tax dollars down the drain to incarcerate the dangerous picnic table fu*ker before he moves on to beach chairs. We'll get Congress to hold hearings and fund studies! Let it be known that if anyone gets off in a way that you find "odd" they should be locked up forever! We'll make sure people only have sex the way God intended: Man on top, woman on bottom (not speaking or moving of course).

    That'll teach 'em.

ya know as I read these quotes I can now see how the decay of society as slowly crept through the pours of our world. One simple mind at a time. do you honestly expect me to believe that there is no difference between f*ckn a table and good dirty sex between a man and a woman. just say no! this man can enjoy a table in the "PRIVACY" of his own home when he takes it outside it is in "PUBLIC" . my 8 year old understands the difference

  10. And dude ... you need to chill. Like, seriously. Deep breaths. To the undiscerning eye this looks like you're just repressed and/or jealous. The question is whether or not you're jealous of the guy or the picnic table.

    To quote someone far wiser:

"Who cares what coupling gives any consenting adults pleasure? All we should care about is people are going home and getting off somehow, with something, some one, anyone because a person who gets off tends not to be a nut who gets off OFFING people."

So chill. Or go get your own picnic table.

Obviously you are part of the problem. limited vision makes limited minds. let me quess liberal public schools, it's not your fault they made you read a book called my two dads. :D any idiot can quote someone elses quote. thanx for playing

  11. Would you care to show some scientific proof about that please?

It's true that deviant activities, such as killing animals, leads to sociopathic tendencies later in life. But I haven't read any research indicating masterbation via inanimate objects is considered deviant and leads to anything worse.

There's a lot of REALLY weird sexual stuff out there that, to me, seems far more deviant, but I'd never think it's going to escalate to anything.

Hey Mr. science! Masterbation using inanimate objects like dolls or tables does fall under a chapter in my psych 405 book called "abnormal psych." :D

  12. Disagree somewhat about poor technique. His technique was fine last year and the year before when he racked up regular-season and playoff wins -- when he was able to get a few nights off and was able to work on his game in practice. Lindy and Ryan both admitted that as the season wore on Ryan was unable to put in the kind of practice time he feels he needs to maintain his game, simply because he was physically and mentally fatigued. So yes, the workload affected his technique at different times, and there were some games where he was overplaying initial shots or swimming in his crease to get back in position, but there were a lot of games where he was very good.

And it is true that Miller wanted the heavier workload, but I don't think he envisioned 33 straight starts after the break, with no nights off until the team was eliminated. He wanted to prove he could handle that kind of workload, and management wanted to see if he could handle it. So in that sense his overuse was a good thing - they learned that he is not one of the very rare physical freaks who can handle 75+ games and still have a lot left in the tank for the postseason. Not a big deal, because most no.1 goalies are 60-65 game players and need nights off. I was glad to hear Lindy say that he doesn't want to play Ryan 70+ games again if possible.

But Tbo's disappointing season cannot be understated. He sucked this year well before they hit the post-ASB stretch run, and the staff clearly lost faith in him. There were a few opportunities over the last few months where they could have started Tbo but elected not to, and it hurt Ryan and then team in the long run.

    Whatever ;)

  13. Fixed that for you

Yes, you are right, another one the should have been mentioned in the title  But you knew that was the way it was going to be with danny, didn't you? I hope Vanek was worth it! Lets just hope Tom doesn't buy the Bills or we are doubley doomed ;)

  14. Probably shouldn't even respond to idiots who don't read others posts completely, but here it goes. I did say "at the time", those were the Sabres choices. And you can't really dispute that those were the choices, Marty was a back up for the majority of his career and Miller was the up and coming goalie. Please take time to read others posts completely, before giving a half a$$ reply and yet again play the Monday morning quarterback role. Shoulda, coulda, woulda's are very easy a year later...
hey jacka$$ , i did read your whole run on sentence and i just wanted to reply to a few ideas. I also can tell that you don't deal with different ideas well and my replies are not half a$$. I saw this from a million miles away. Miller was shakey at best, even in our two cup runs we weren't there because of Miller, we were there despite Miller. Remember the way Biron played when Miller got hurt in 2006/07. Chemistry is what took us that far, not Miller. When we lost Briere, Drury and now Cambell we lost almost all of our chemistry. I come by these ideas via watching every period of every game for 30 years. Miller was not the right choice just like Vanek isn.t worth the big money we payed him. I knew it then and I know it now. No wouldas , no couldas and no shouldas. By the way i really don't appreciate the personal attacks in this reply . Thats the kind of thing that gets you smacked in the mouth on the streets. ;)
  15. We have narrowed our search and now are looking at one of the Florida Keys. Anyone have good experince with any hotels? And suggestions on which key is the best? etc, etc.

    Any tips would be appreciated.

Half way on marathon at key lime resorts on the gulf side, equadistant from both key west and key largo. good time will be had by all. eat at herbies bar and grill try the conch fritters

  16. Marty vs. Buffalo this year: 4 GP, 1-2-1, 4.11 ERA, .855 SV%.

For sake of reference - Ryan was 3-0-1 in 4 GP vs. Philly this year; 2.89 GAA and .895 SV %.

But Luongo is elite! I've heard of him! Does this mean the Canucks traded for the wrong guy two years ago? Maybe Calgary should have traded Kirpusoff for Biron. Or NJ should have swapped Brodeur for Biron. Hey, they are both Marty's, right?

Philly did a great job of reshaping their roster in one offseason. They cut their goals against by an unheard-of 70 goals in one year (06-07 297 GA; 07-08 227 GA.) That sure as hell didn't happen just by plugging in Biron - while he brought some stability to the position, the Flyers also upgraded their defense by getting rid of two horrible defensive defensemen - Pitkanen (-25 last year) and Andrew Picard (-19 LY) and brought in Kimo Timonen and Jason Smith for starters.

Our defense was horrible this year (Tallinder and Lydman were mere shadows of their previous-year's play and Kalinin was awful for the better part of the year) our offense struggled to score goals consistently (the goals-for stat is horribly misleading here - I've doen the research and we certainly padded our GF number by running up the score in about 15 games) and the coaching staff lost faith in Ryan's backup somewhere around February 1st and the staff felt it was better to roll out Miller night in and night out than put a game in Thibault's hands.

Miller struggled both as a result of the bad defense/inconsistent offense/bad backup-overuse factors and independently of those factors - he struggled early in the year when family issues impacted his focus (the death of his young cousin) and he struggled to handle the increased workload. He'll know better how to handle extra games next year, the FO will (hopefully) find a competent backup to take the heat off for 15-20 games, and the defense should be improved (addition by subtraction - Kalinin shouldn't be back next year, and Tallinder/Lydman couldn't play much worse.)

you forgot to mention poor technique and miller wanted the heavier work load to show he a long haul kind of minder. not because Tbo sucked.

  17. Marty is a good goalie that is playing great in the first two rounds. He wore down during the regular season and was actually benched for a brief time. I have to laugh at all these second guessers and Monday morning quarterbacks on this board. It's easy to sit down after the fact and determine whether or not it was a good decision. And at the time, it was either Marty or Ryan. One would have to go, an 8 year backup goalie or a young, hot shot goalie that had a really good college career and was playing well in the NHL. I wish Marty the best, but it's early to make that call in just 2 series of hockey. Let's see if he can stop the very high powered offense of the Pens, should they both make it into the conference finals.

My philosophy has always been the goalies really come into their own later in the their career. It's a rarity that a goalie comes into the league and dominates throughout his whole career, add the fact that goalies rely heavily on their defense and you can see why. Having been in the league now for 10 years, Marty is learning to trust his defense and "cheating" on plays in which he believes the defense will deny a pass or be in good position. This trust can only be established with a solid defense. Ryan Miller does not have trust in his defense at all, and why would he. He can't sit back and say, ok the D is going to shut down the right side, so I'll cheat a bit to the left to be ready for that last second pass. Buffalo's D was horrible this year and yet Miller gets all the blame. I don't know if Miller will ever be a great goalie, but I know there would be less concern with a solid defense in front of him.

Hmmmm. a hot shot who is sitting home. Biron is more than a career back up. how did he do against the sabres this year ?

  18. so how is that job as a second guesser going? glad to see we have a professional goalie coach here to lay the whole blame on Miller, once again not noting the fact that he basically played almost 3 months without a day off because of a backup goalie who couldn't stop a beach ball shot at him..... go away with this noise, such an old story :wallbash: :wallbash:

Here are the very close stats. now who can't stop a beach ball!! :wallbash:

    30 Ryan Miller 76 4474 2.64 36 27 10 3 2104 197 .906 0 1 6

    35 Jocelyn Thibault 12 507 3.31 3 4 2 2 214 28 .869 0 0 0

miller 3 shut outs, T-bo 2 shut outs a bright guy like you can figure the rest of this "noise" out :wallbash:

  19. so how is that job as a second guesser going? glad to see we have a professional goalie coach here to lay the whole blame on Miller, once again not noting the fact that he basically played almost 3 months without a day off because of a backup goalie who couldn't stop a beach ball shot at him..... go away with this noise, such an old story :wallbash: :wallbash:
O.K. it makes me wonder why both Darcy and Lindy are still employed by the Sabres. T-bo couldn't stop a beach ball? As for second guessing, fact is fact, we have seen the best of Ryan Miller. You obviously can't recognize that there is problem when he goes down and stays down and the whole league knows to shoot high. Combine that with poor vision and bad decision making and you have a recipe for disaster. :wallbash:
  20. Boy, Oh boy! I thought that Miller was the real deal and as time showed us all, he isn't. To watch Biron during these playoffs it is nice to see a netminder that will steal one for you. Listening to the national media using words like spectacular and amazing to describe Marty makes me wonder how much longer is Darcy going to keep his job. The butcher's bill is now Biron, Briere, Drury and Cambell, all of which made it to the second season. Now I know that alot of you will say it was our defence that let Miller down but I've reviewed the tapes (Tvo). A large part of the goals he let in were at the worst possible time and were easy stops to make, clear looks at the puck and shooter. The Bills in Toronto, and soon the Sabres somewhere else also. Buffalo what a mess!!!
