My prediction for this season, especially after the Hardy news is simple. I'd like to hand in my resume:

My Optimism scale has a swing of 4 to 6 games, but still I hate to get carried away.
The Road games are tough to pick. Most of these teams have bigger QB issues than Buffalo
Jacksonville ---- L yet I really think the Bills can win this game

Most of the stuff that you read is all taken from the AP and ammended or reworded.

IIRC 13 out of 32 .... is only slightly better than last season's guesses.

It's not exactly "no new evidence." Goodell admitted months ago that the Patriots have been illegally videotaping since 2000, but didn't give specifics. Furthermore, that admission was largely (conveniently?) ignored by many. Not me. I supported RJ because of his mobility and great arm. It didn't matter that he was losing. He had big time talent, so I thought he either was better than Flutie, or woud be......some day.

Look people. The Bills made a decision. After 4 years and 2 full seasons as a starter the Bills brain trust has moved on.
Trent is the starter until he fails.
Crying about pool JP isn't doing anyone any good.

I live between DC and Baltimore. I can tell you that the city is a dump. There is a small section on the water that attracts tourists...has some bars etc.. Other than that it may be the scariest damn place I've been to. The area near M&T Bank stadium looks like a place their star LB would be an accomplice to murder. When HBO does a tv serious depicting how dangerous and murder filled your city is, I wouldn't bash another city.
Was that you I aw as I was driving home from Elkton MD yesterday and near Baltimore I saw a car with a Buffalo Bills helmet attached to the trailor hitch... ??
Last time I drove through Baltimore was 10 years ago or more.. I missed a turn on the 95 and ended up in a not so nice area at 2AM. But as with any city you can go 3 blocks and find a nice residential area or you have to fo a few miles out and find a nice residential area like Chevy Chase and Glen Burnie...

This is an interesting team. If the youth plays at a B level, the Bills could win 10 games.
Go Bills, Lets make the playoffs and get some well deserved respect.
And to do that they need to defeat the Pats !

Re-read my post. Goodell stated that the Patriots have been videotaping (illegally) since 2000. He didn't name any other teams, nor have any other teams been accused of doing it. Therefore it's more than just a bunch of conspiracy theories and feel-good discussions.
Why more hasn't been made of this, I don't know. But they're guilty no matter what Walsh produces, based on the Commish's admission, in light of getting caught red-handed in 2007.
What's going to happen? Nothing significent . They lose their trophy? they have to give up their SB rings.. some of which are in Pawn shops?

There was an improvement from the beginning of the year to the end. Trent played in more games at the end. The bottom line is Football is a TEAM SPORT more so than most others. A win or loss is on the ENTIRE TEAM not one player. You can say this player had a good game, that player had a bad game, but you can't put a loss on one player. ALL YOU HATERS WILL BLAME THE ENTIRE TEAM NEXT YEAR WHEN TRENT LOSES.

How can you draw that analogy? I'm posted game situations. I have said that we could blame the coaches, AND the players. I compared the QB's Games WON and games LOST. I sited nearly equal performances. The key factor we can take from last season was thet a Rookie QB played as well as the 4th season pro.
It's time to move on. The Bills front office made it's choice. Don't you think you support the team?.
Trent is injured a lot? I thought only that wrist injury during the Jet's game. Was there another 1?I believe the Trent haters are referring to his college career.
Can I point out that JP missed an entire season when he broke his leg. And he was out for 4 games with a sprained knee.

The reason for that is the O-Line had longer to play together & become a cohesive UNIT than while JP was playing.

It's not like Losman played 7 straight games and then Trent went in from 8 through 16 and there was an improvement.
It was closer to 3 to 4 on, 3 to 4 off. Or do you still think it coincidence??
You can argue the #'s all day long.
The bottom line is for games started and played JP 2-4 and Trent 4-5

if JP is the reason why the team was 10-21 in his starts, then why is there so much bitching on here about how the OL sucked, how the defense sucked, how we had no #2 WR, how we had no TE, etc. With JP on the bench, all our ills should be cured.
There is plenty of blame to go around. From Injuries, to players to coaches.
I've always said that one player shouldn't make or break a team. but...
The O Line looked and performed different with Edwards than it did with Losman. Why is that?

It comes down to two things on Defense
Insufficient pass rush
Insufficient run blocking
It comes down to two and a half things on Offense
Consistency in QB play and play calling
Consistency in WR's play / getting open
With this soft schedule the Bills should be able to win 10 games w/o breaking a sweat. Anything less and I call this team a FAILURE.
