Anyone else interested? I highly doubt McDermott goes, but should he?

please don’t do this. There is absolutely no reason to resurrect a two month old topic with an incorrect topic title. If you need to reference a pass post you could just embed a link to it.

I know I have this on the Sabres site and I believe I have it here too where I ask you in a big orange alert box not to resurrect old posts.

Backwards thinking like this (plus the fact that there are 9 pages of outdated posts) is the reason that even @SDS doesn't sell his tickets in the Bills Tickets and Gear section (and note he was selling at a profit).

I sell some of my tickets (many times all and then buy on the open market) because it's the only way that I can afford them. I've tried to offer them here at the TM list price before fees with poor results. Would rather have a Bills fan next to me than some rando. Plus after moving my seats this year (in prep for PSLs) I regret it as I have not run into ANY STHs who actually use their seats and my area is overrun with the Brie and Wine types, one who actually scolded me for jeering too much on Sunday.

I'll give you the same deal I've offered before, pay me back the money I've lost on my tickets over the years and I'll give you a pair to this Sunday's game for free.

That cool enough for you, Mr Socialist?

I don’t know why you’re tagging me, but I wasn’t selling my ticket. A teacher at my child’s school had a seat for sale and I posted it for her. For I know she bought it at the same price and was looking to get her money back.

Look at the replay. He got hit in the throat / neck area not the chest. Not saying you are wrong but look at what he got hit. My explanation makes perfect sense based on the location of the hit. Rupture or clock the airway would allow the air in your lounge enough air for you to stand and move a big before you pass out. Then lack of more oxygen flow would give you cardiac arrest. So they would need to get you airflow first and then cpr. We’ll see what they say but the hit location was not the chest or you would think we would be seeing them all the time.

    Square in the chest.

From the site creator, nonetheless. I'm kind of surprised.

Yes. I’m concerned about people sending their hard-earned money to a place that no one asked them to during an emotional time. Such a crazy thought from the site creator.

What I really should be doing as someone who doesn’t know anything about the situation is to tell people to spend money left and right without any due diligence. Grow up.

Then don't donate.  If people want to express their concern by donating to his charity, so be it.

Your reading skills are to be commended. 🙄

Do you know if anyone is actually able to receive this money? If people want to express their concern and it had to be done this very minute there are countless places to donate money where their ability to handle such influx is known.

appreciate you being mindful and trying to do the right thing.

i’m gonna come out and say it. This charity giving is dumb. Do people here actually think Damar Hamlin has a staff handling his toys for kids charity? Who do these people think is handling this money?  While I don’t have a definitive answer,  it is most assuredly Damar himself who, quite frankly, is a little busy at the moment.

maybe people could just wait a hot second and let things settle down.

It was McDermott’s reaction for me. He’s always so calm no matter the situation.

    He was visibly distraught.

agreed. He started walking on the field and I thought to myself well this is weird. And then looking at him I turned my wife and said I think he’s crying. And that’s when they started scanning the faces of the other players on the team. Not at that point something wasn’t right.

I was going to post this as a separate post but decided not to but my question is.

Is it time for the Bills to get a big body receiver who can make contested catches?

I know that one key to Josh Allen development was getting away from big bodied receivers to receivers that can run precise routes. This was probably the right approach because of Josh Allen accuracy issues in his 1st couple of seasons in the league.

Now that Allen ball placement and accuracy is better now I think we can revisit the need of a WR that can make contested catches

Here is an example of what Im talking about from the 1st Dolphins game in the second clip for the pass into the endzone. Now imagine a receiver like Mike Williams or out of last draft class George Pickens that plays for the Steelers. Gabe would be a excellent player but for his size he drops too many contested catches. If he could fix that issue along with his weak ankles that would be ideal but if not I think we should invest either through the draft or free agency for a Mike Williams/ Mike Evans type of receiver.

One last case to support my case is the fact that we play are most important games in Dec/Jan/Feb:) I think it helps to have size at the receiver stop to help in the redzone/run game WR blocking and for footing purposes. I might do some research on this certain aspect to see if it really does help in that regard.

since this has nothing to do with Kurt Warner’s analysis, it is by definition a separate topic.

    Thank you.

please be more specific in your title. We don’t want any catchall player topics.

As a courtesy to the other board members, please use more descriptive topic titles. A single name if far too vague to post as a title and provides little insight into what specifically the post is talking about. The topic starter can edit the topic title line to make it more appropriate.

    Thank you.

Rule about threads related to game do not apply to YoYo right?

given the fact that you are not a moderator, I’m gonna go ahead and say that you have no idea what the rules actually are. I have actually clarified this many many many times and given to the fact that you don’t know what the hell you’re talking about then maybe you should not comment on these things. How about that?

If I need to give an obvious explanation to the busybodies who can’t help themselves from playing hall monitor, things that happened in the game that are of importance beyond the game are 100% reasonable topics. Miller’s injury would be one of them.
