Just to clarify for people, these renderings are NOT drawn with a pencil. We create renderings these days by simply taking a screen image of the 3D computer model of the actual architectural design and then use a software filter to make the images appear to be hand drawn. I guarantee they are 100% accurate. Now, that doesn’t mean that the perspective can be a bit deceiving.
I hope that clears up some of the confusion.
Whatever the perspective they are using isn't natural. The lower bowl isn't going to be flat on one side. Real estate photos are "accurate" too. Rooms don't look that way though.

It definitely does not. You better check again. This rendering looks a lot worse and the roof covers much less. I would have been excited if they just up and copied that stadium but this looks like they said we can't afford that give us something much cheaper
it’s a goddamn drawing.- 1

Between the canopy (even if it only covers +/- 60% of the seats), the stacked seat design, the "extensive radiant heating" that will be used, the "wind confusion wrap" (whatever the fook that is), and the rotation of the stadium's orientation to be less affected by wind....
I have a feeling fans will be much more comfortable in the new stadium. It'll be the best of both worlds, with more warmth and cover on gamedays, but also maintaining the outdoor football atmosphere that a stadium in Buffalo should have.
Then again, I'm a hopeless optimist....God bless you.

So it took 2-3 months more to release TWO cookie cutter pics. Maybe the computer that the renderings were on died, and they couldn’t get a replacement?😂
Yes, the idea that the rest of the world is both and lying and incompetent is the much better take.

Does anyone why there isn't a 🤬 floating ring roof to cover the lower bowl and protect the expensive seats, while leaving the upper deck exposed? Surely the architects have seen the Jetsons.

Keep in mind if his is the same guy who said renderings were “very close” 2-3 months ago. Anyone see his nose growing by the minute? 😂
So, you live in a world where nothing changes? Or did Raccuia wake up one day and say, "I'm bored. I'm just gonna make ***** up today and make people mad."?

People not realizing that the nfl doesn’t want fans at the stadiums. They want fans at home. Watching on their TVs. So the ratings continue to climb and so does their TV contracts.
I can’t imagine the marginal people at the stadiums affects readings numbers. 10k to 20k people are in the noise. -

Lower capacity going to be the trend going forward. It won't just be the Bills.
going forward? It has been that way for about 20 years. At least since the Colts stadium was built.- 1

I love @SDS, maybe the best anywhere it running this, or any site, and I would never normally complain (as I set up my complaint), and I get the last thread was 75 pages long, but after all the harassing over the summer and fall Steel City DESERVED his threads place in the sun for a little bit!
Although...I am quite the fan of efficiency so I respectfully withdraw my comment. 😁
@Steel City Mafia buddy, the day has arrived. Congrats.
People do not deserve to wade through a 77 page thread to find the beginning of where the renderings are.- 2

ALL OF YOU COMPLAINING ABOUT THE CANOPY, STOP IT. JUST STOP IT!
You are all 100% correct, but just stop.
😉
Honestly, I'm hoping it is just the trick of the angle...or somebody forgot to draw it out further.
they have hired people who have done this before. We should assume that professional architects are going to get this right before believing a rendering.- 2

I would take the interior rending with a grain of salt. Look at the seats in the lower ball on the left side and how flat they look and then look at the seats on the right side in the lower bowl. It’s not really a great rendering that leads to the right perspective.

If we take our cue from Miami, the rain off the roof should funnel down and drip right over the visitors bench.

It's a marriage of convenience. A billionaire can buy what he wants. Another toy for him. But since he is a widower, I guess he gets a free pass.
So, you’re the marriage police now? -

I didn’t look this up myself, I was told this yesterday by my neighbor who is from Pittsburgh. Apparently the Steelers are somewhere around 0–8 when TJ Watt is out.
He was a beast last year in the opener and I’m not surprised to see them suffering without him.

At least this isn’t a Breece Hall thread. That’s illegal.
This is a topic that discusses a current issue. It’s the complete opposite of what you did. This is not a 20 year old topic that leads with “Tom Brady is going to be really good in the future and we should have a topic that discusses everything about Tom Brady right here for all of eternity“.Now go outside and touch some grass.

Lol. Thanks. I'm an optical engineer who also uses SolidWorks. I'm also a computer guy. I can handle the discussion. I also have designed my own lenses in optical design software. And I'm an pro-am photographer.
