Neither kid did anything inflamatory, degrading or showboat. stuupid refs For starters, I think most of the excessive celebration penalties are crap, and that includes the two today. But despite what the announcers were saying, I don't think either one was called on the individual scoring the TD (though the second one was close). I think they were called on excessive team celebration. And while I don't agree with the rule, I think it was the correct call on the GA touchdown. I think the LSU TD was less severe, but they called it because the first once was called and they didn't want to look they were favoring one team.
