billsfan89 Posted September 11, 2009 Share Posted September 11, 2009 I never believed in the Madden curse because a lot of the time they picked guys that you know were going to get hurt (Shawn Alexander aka running backs over 30 and guys like Vince Young and Mike Vick who are running QB's also prone to down years and injuries) also the choice of Brett Favre last year a 38 going on 39 year old QB was an obvious curse. Also guys like Ray Lewis were able to have good years while on the cover of Madden If Troy and Larry get hurt than look out because that might be a little freaky. You have to remember, when Farve was the QB, he was a retired packer. After he was given the cover there was that whole crazy farve coming back to be a jet off season.
