Fred Jackson is OK

Recommended Posts

By "OK", is/will he be wearing a cast? Is the wrist broken? Will catching the ball be impeded? Any linky thing?

I'm having haunting memories of Rob Riddick @ Tampa Bay in '87...

No breaks, per Paul Hamilton: http://www.wgr550.com/Jackson-has-no-breaks/5086057

Orchard Park, NY (WGR 550) -- Fred Jackson was watching practice, but relieved that he has a sprained wrist and nothing is broken, "I feel good. It was a little scary yesterday when first did it, but I feel fine right now, so we'll hopefully see how things progress from today until tomorrow. All negative. That's always a good thing when the x-rays come back negative, so I'm enthusiastic about that and come back as soon as possible. Yeah I'll be fine. Right now everything's just precautionary, so I'm excited about that."

Supposedly a chance he'll play Saturday, but I'm going to guess that they hold him out...

Playing Jackson would be foolish, IMO. The wrist is complicated, we should take no chances on aggravating it and let him heal up for what really matters, the regualr season.
