Your post said nothing about an alternative league. Neither did mine. Kelly opted to skip the NFL, and skip Buffalo. Maybin is doing nothing of the sort. He is still in the process of negotiating his contract. To characterize that as "balk[ing] at the chance to play in the NFL" is insane.
