Bills Still Need a Good Fixin .....

GM Russ Brandon's job is still far from over.......

He better get some good line protection at LG ...... making a trade for Waters makes sense...

No mater what he does now in free agency he better get his starting O-line in order.....

Brandon can get a good defensive end in the draft with Tyson Jackson... Jackson will not provide a great pass rush but will be stable for years to come.

They will have to pay him 6 million a year for a 11th round pick. They can alway release Kelsay to recover that amount of money or close to it.

Maybin is not the answer, for the Bills would be taking a big risk on him. Everette Brown is too small for a DE and can be pushed around.

Brian Orakpo will be gone as will DT Raji........ The Bills like DE Jackson for he is a 4 year starter and they have a good read on him. From what I hear he is moving up the charts fast.......

Round 2 is looking like the Bills will take the Best TE available....... They could also move up using Parish as trade bait if necessary....

Round 3 can be used for a quality C/Guard......

Rounds 4 thru 7 ... your guess is as good as mind.......

That leaves Line Backer to get fixed in free agency........there are several out there to choose from..... The same for a new 3rd string running back to get us through the first 4 games of the season........

I figure GM Brandon is trying hard now to fix the LG position..... There is a big hole there right now...... The Bills really need a high quality LG to protect Edwards....... He needs the time now to throw more then ever..... We are going to have a outstanding arial attack now with Owens and a pass catching TE.

This too will improve our running game especially since the Bills hopefully can open things up........

Let's hope the Bills can make some smart moves here on out .......

McKelvin got 5 years, just under 20 million. Generally, the "slotted salaries" rise about 15% a year......figure roughly 4.6 mill this time around.

you still think they will go up 15% even with the economy the way it is..they probably will i'm just asking for your opinion?

Why dont we just draft duke robinson, the best OG in the draft at 11? We wont go DE with kelsay and schobel making $$$, and a tight end doesnt make sense if you cant protect trent. Signing TO doesnt make sense if you cant protect trent. Draft Duke and complete our line

Too much of a reach. He could be had in the later part of the 1st. If we cn trade down to take him? Yes. Alex Mack is also considered a great OG prospect as well as a C prospect. He could be an option as well.

You can't recover salary but cutting Kelsay. So much of his contract was guaranteed you'd only save a million or so of cap space. It's not worth cutting him; just let him be a backup.

Everyone needs to stop trading the most explosive PR in the league. Seriously. Not sure why this is gaining so much steam but just stop it already.

If Tyson Jackson won't provide a great pass rush, then why the hell do you want to draft him??? Everette Brown is listed at 6'2" 256 lbs., ran a 4.73 at the Combine, and can bench 480 lbs. Sounds big enough to me.

Round 4-7 you draft best available players for depth in positions of need, including OL, DE, S, LB, TE (in that order).

"opposite aaron"...what does that mean? 31 year-old Aaron Schobel isn't the answer. He's barely a starter at this point. He has 7½ sacks in 21 games over the last two years. He only got one in his five starts last year. Do our playoff hopes rely - at least in part - on his reclaiming his 2006 form? If so, we may be in trouble.

That doesn't make any sense at all. Our pass rush was horrid last year. Your DB's can't cover anybody for six seconds. We need a DE bad, much worse than the G we will likely pick up in the next week or so. Plus, you can't just draft a late 1st round pick at #11. If there are no DE's you want at #11 (assuming Orakpo and Brown are gone and the FO realizes the bust Maybin will be), no TE's there (any would be a reach there), and no OL there then you trade down, acquire extra draft picks and save $$ on your rookie contracts while acquiring the same player.
