When I got my Georgia license, I went to the DMV out in the sticks and was in and out in under 20 minutes . From what I hear about that one, is that it is busy on weekdays. To tell you the truth, I haven't had a bad DMV experience in probably over 10 years. The one in Niagara Falls was very fast, and the one in St Augustine is as efficient and pleasant as any gov't bureaucracy can be. I forgot San Francisco. It should read: It is good to have the option of being able to go to DMV on a Saturday, but I'm sure it sucks to actually do it. Well, it did suck. Kim was there for over an hour and was afraid she wasn't going to get to the counter before they closed at 12:30 (I'm sure since she had been there waiting, they would have accomodated her, but it's the BMV, after all).
