Someone should probably tell Mr. Gutman

I wholeheartedly agree that everyone needs to recognize there is only ONE New York NFL team, but this article is very positive toward our beloved Bills.

I'd say it's much more favorable of the need for a salary cap in baseball than it is of the Bills.

In fact, other than stating that the Bills will finish ahead of the Pats* because of free agency and the Bretts because of the Madden Curse, and pointing out that Dallas currently has more losses than Bflo, it doesn't really say much about the Bills at all.

"As long as a salary cap means teams like the Bills can someday top the Patriots and the standings, it will be good for baseball" is nearly insulting to Bflo...

It isn't insulting to the Bills. We all know the WNY market is smaller than Boston, Dallas, etc.

It also says we're going to win the division. It says the Bills are a shining example of what's right with the salary camp.

Yeah but everyone knows (at least Bills fans, and those on this board) that the salary cap is unequal. Everyone knows that it will only get worse for small market teams (85 mil to 122 mil in 5 years).

His whole part about teams not being able to keep their players b/c of the cap is crap - the free agent pool has sucked the past few years because big market teams re-upped their free agents. The few good free agents on the market were those that played for small market teams who wouldn't get in a bidding war.

For a kid attending Yale, he's not too bright.
