They need a pass rushing DE more than anything else now that Jake Long is off the board. They already have Adam Carriker from last year's draft playing in the interior of their defense and he doesn't project as a pass rusher which is what they would need. Ghoulston or Chris Long would be more suited for their defense. There is scuttlebutt that the Rams are considering moving Carriker back outside to RDE because Haslett absolutely loves Dorsey. It's probably the smart thing for them to do, rather than continuing to play Carriker out of position. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
K-9 Posted April 23, 2008 Share Posted April 23, 2008 If the Jets trade up it's to get Gholston or Long. Either would be a great fit in Mangini's D. I feel it will be Long. He's a GREAT 3-4 DE already. Just like us, the Jets know they play in the same division with Brady and Co. and what's needed to compete. GO BILLS!!!
