Broke his thumb badly last year. Broncos might still keep him if he reworks his contract numbers - and I think they'd really like to. I don't know what the Jints were prepared to give in return, but the price was obviously too high for them considering the wear and tear and age - 30 of Big Al. Hey, let our doctors check him out and make their own determinations, we got nothing to lose. It's going to be an awkward for a defensive captain to return to a team that was trying to trade him.
