I remember one play from our 5-yard line, Thomas was stuffed for a 2-yard loss. The DT made the tackle in the backfield. On the replay, he was actually DOUBLE-TEAMED on the play by Fowler and Gandy. If they can give him time to complete some passes, teams can't just concentrate on stopping the run against us. The line was terrific today. Hopefully, they can keep it up. Game ball to the offensive line. JP should get a game ball as well...come to think of it Evans might get one..hmmm...Price's last second catch...hell...give a game ball to the entire offense. We picked them up and at least gave JP time to setup and Evans to get down the field. The past 2 games JP didn't even have time to setup for when he did he was getting smashed! On those type plays where the D blitzes and plays man to man it's easier to just let it fly and hope the WR beats his man. If they get that same type of pressure only rushing 4 then it's not so simple. Earlier in the year defense kept a saftey over the top the keep Evans from making the big play. The past few weeks the pass protection has been so bad it didn't matter. If the O-line pass blocks this well from here on out I guarantee you won't see 7-8 defenders in the box from here on out for if they do Evans will make them pay!
