Police identify 12-year-old found dead Syracuse police this afternoon identified the 12-year-old boy found dead Monday as Apple Jack Williams, said Sgt. Tom Connellan. The boy's brother found him at 8 p.m. Monday at 1123 W. Colvin St., Syracuse. A belt was wrapped around Apple Jack Williams' neck, and the belt was hanging from a doorknob. It's the second child who has died in a similar fashion in three days. Kareem Pendergraph, 6, died Saturday night.
