Favre in Buffalo?

Recommended Posts

Yup, it's the hair.  Completing less then 50% of his passes,  fumbling 7 times  in 9 games, or 8 int's with only 8 TD's, and a 60 QB rating had nothing to do with it.  :P

Well, since those numbers aren't too far off Eli Manning's numbers for his first 9 starts, and since there are no rumors about Favre going to NY, then I'd say yeah, it's the hair....

While this definitely seems like something that would never happen, something interesting was said on NFL Total Access.  They were talking about the possibly of Brett Farve playing for another team.  Rod Woodson mentioned the Ravens.  However, special guest Ricky Prohel mentioned, you guessed it, the Buffalo Bills.  He feels that the Bills are a team on the rise with a good wrs like Evans and their QB situation has be holding them back for years.  It also says something because he played against the Bills last year and we gave Carolina everything they could hand.  Of course, we only scored 9 points.  So apparently, the original poster isn't as crazy as everyone thinks if a 14 year old veteran thinks the same way.

Thank you.

I won't say worst post ever, atleast its different, its doesn't consist of Young being drafted by the bills.

Favre playing in Buffalo would not be a bad idea if we actually had the supporting cast that you say we have. We are not just one QB away from the SB. We are not just one QB away from the playoffs. QB should be one of the last positions on the list of upgrades just above running back and Special teams players.

Buffalo needs an oline and dline, a big target for the QB to throw to (Vernon Davis could help there), a safety to help the secondary (possibly Huff). When they fix those problems and are not in contention for a SB, then maybe we should look into a QB

We've improved the o-line, added Peerless, and will draft the big DT from Oregon and possibly make a deal for Huff.

Quite possibly the worst idea I have heard yet

So you liked the idea of keeping Rob Johnson and getting rid of the Quarterback that, well, just won games! Great philosophy! Glad you're not a coach! We've had plenty of worse ideas.

It's just about impossible for the Bills to draft Ngata and make a deal for Huff. And the Oline still needs two or three draft picks to continue its improvement.

Price has to prove he's still a viable NFL player, because his last few seasons have been poor.

It would be nice to have a fully-engaged, top-of-his-game Favre here, but he's peroformance and committment to the game has been spotty the last couple of seasons. It would be a big and unecessary risk for the team to take, much like the one they took on Bledsoe.
