Kerry has been a Senator for the last 19 years.  What is the job of a Senator?  Attending session, drafting legislation, voting on legislation, participating on committees, etc...  Do you honestly think Kerry has been a hard working  Senator?

Why don't you ask John McCain that question?

Yeah, let's ask another politician.  That'll settle the dispute.

Fine. There shouldn't be any "dispute" over whether Kerry has been a hard-working Senator, anyway. One would think that the people of Massachusetts have settled that question three times over.

Yeah, because Democrats have a terrible time getting elected in Massachusetts. Good "lahjik" there. Kinda like Republicans here in Alaska.

Please comeback with the lame "Republican" governor argument, which has been tried here before. I'd love to dust off the Mass "Congressional" breakdown yet again.

BRH, this makes point I was ever so subtly trying to make. The only hard work Kerry has done in the Senate is campaigning to keep his job until he finally got an opening on the Presidential ticket. Any independent assessment of Kerry's Senate record, using a job description for a Senator, would find he was not a hard worker at the things that Senators are elected to do.
