seattlebillsfan Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago I would never argue that New England isn’t a deeply corrupt organization, or that deliberate Gillette clock mismanagement isn’t part of that corruption, or that the league hasn’t been deeply complicit through “in the bag” officiating, just as it was for the Chiefs until they became a less interesting ticket to sell because Mahomes is declining…. ….but on this particular sequence, weren’t the Pats basically in field goal range after the Maye run? So the outcome would have been timeout and then field goal, and it’s still 24-7 heading into the half? Quote

So the outcome would have been timeout and then field goal, and it’s still 24-7 heading into the half? Not necessarily. Everything would have been more rushed and the kick likely would have been longer. Essentially the refs gave them a free TO and compounded the mistakes. I personally feel that the 6 seconds ran off the clock during the 11 yard run ending the half. Regardless, the handling of the clock by the officials was terrible and shouldn't happen. The clock operator who "failed" to start the clock should get fired. Quote

The refs said nothing and just put 2 seconds on the clock. Between that and the two replay assists were used or not used against the Bills. Meanwhile their embarrassing coach is whining today about the refs media. This guy is the media darling since half are ex Pats homers.. lost respect for him. 1 Quote
