I think the call from Mike Tirico in national television is well worth way more than the ball (original ball or not). I mean he has a party story for life with Tirico calling him out of the stadium

I get it kinda, like how do you miss the game for a football? I know Josh thru it but that was a big game... and to leave your wife alone in the stands cmon man...

Guy catches a football, runs out of the stadium, then brings the football back.

 

Hardly a Paul Harvey 'Rest of the Story' level thing.  Mike Tirico gave this thing life.
