Even in a society of scholars and thinkers there will be a need for pipefitters, mechanics and truck drivers. Your philosophy is fundamentally flawed.

Yes, but why do we have to appreciate, even grudgingly, these people? Can’t we just hold our collective nose as they do their mediocre and mundane tasks?

Roundy doesn’t like farmers either. The kid has issues.

Pipefitters and plumbers take more skill than standing around at a manufacturing line all day or mining coal.

I don’t like farmers because they’re over subsidized and kill progress. Look at the pushback against the Pennsylvania transit bill - mostly rural people are opposed to it

I believe i thought you were expressing a genuine belief when you were just being antagonist to another poster. My bad, please carry on....

I fully support skilled trades 100%.

I do not support subsidizing dead industries just to give handouts to jobs. Our ports are ARCHAIC compared to other places that have embraced port automation. It’s because of the longshoremen union.

That’s all I need to know. F those people tilling the fields. Pennsylvania transit is at stake!

Your parents failed you when they let you grow up without the capacity for embarrassment.

I can't/won't disagree with that. Your first post i quoted makes you look like, in my opinion (perhaps mistakenly), an elitist whom looks down on skilled tradesmen.

The hatred of the working class by lefties is profound...

It is rooted in envy...

They pretend to love the working class until it’s a white person from a rural area. Then being working class becomes an insult.

The war on drugs has been waged for decades. So far we've lost most of the battles. A family member worked for the DEA and bluntly said the war on drugs was a farce and pretty much everyone in the agency knew it. Now and finally, it sounds like they're willing to take the dog off the chain.

I think the Mexican government secretly would welcome US action to exterminate the cartels. And restore some sembelence of order to the country. But since everyone is in on the take and afraid to rock the boat or get killed for supporting the idea they publicly renounce any US  intervention.

What would this war look like? Just wasting a bunch of drug dealers? They do a pretty good job of killing each other already.

Isn't that where the money for the cartels is coming from? Rural working class people are the customers--down the supply chain--of the cartels, right?

West Virginia number one state for over doses. Back when crack was perceived as an inner city black problem it was, "Just say no"

Exactly right. Inner cities and urban areas in general do not have drugs and drug addiction to deal with.

Who loves Trump more than you?

Is he your hero?

Seriously, what politician have you loved more?

Well we know the MAGA solution is to send in the troops and exterminate people. Let's see what the results bring!

Probably less cartel members, which should mean less drugs. Let me guess, a waste of tax dollars.........
