One interesting thing is now the NCAA CAN implement collective bargaining and have a cap on the total teams can spend.  OU put out an interesting statement "

Yesterday marked a historic moment in collegiate athletics with the approval of the House vs. NCAA class action lawsuit settlement. For the first time, athletics departments will share revenue directly with student-athletes. Beginning July 1, 2025, Oklahoma plans to contribute the maximum allowable amount – $20.5 million annually. "

This is all going to come crashing down in the next 5 to 10 years

players taking millions of dollar and transferring multiple times it's not going to last long time

Also the roster limit cut to 105 is going to severely hurt a bunch of middle programs who always relied on strong Walk-Ons

Plenty of schools have strong walk on histories and this is going to hurt

Well, that's what the nation has turned into, so the athletes should get as much as they can get... the free market should work for everyone. Survival of the fittest, and those other programs who can't afford to spend the money are out of luck.

if players take a boatload of money they should have to guarantee multiple years at a school

Schools are not going to take fishing out all this money just for them to transfer 9 months

NFL players sign contracts and cannot transfer... That's going to be a rule sooner than later

If they're getting paid they have to commit.. you can't take 2 million dollars just for a red shirt and then leave

That's also ruining the integrity of amateur Athletics

That's why all of this is messed up.. college football players have been getting paid for a long time Under the table

But now it's destroying the landscape
