The symbolism of her playing Madison’s flute in DC is obvious, but she’s had her own issues with controversy and allegations of discrimination, harassment and being a pretty crappy employer. Beyond that, the potential downside of handling a 200+ year old crystal flute owned by one of the giants of American history seems pretty substantial. A bit reckless, maybe, but maybe they hold up pretty well.
