He wanted to be the "anti-Dickerson", "thinking man's sports talk radio", and he was, for a time, on Empire. Then he moved to WGR, and became increasingly antagonistic to his callers, just as the coach had been. Neither one of them is worth listening to. Haha well I really do believe that Coach knew exactly what he was doing. His job was to get people talking and he couldn’t do that by being nice. So he took his real-life animosity for being fired by Levy and amplified it many decibels to create The Coach character - a football loving, loud mouth, trash talker.
