Interesting Stadium Song Choice

Belichick*** head games with his players? Patriots take the field to what their web sit identifies as "Intro to Carmina Burana". The actual name is "Fortuna Imperatrix Mundi" (Fortune, Empress of the World).

To me, this is the song track equivalent of Belichick*** getting in his players heads saying "Do Your Job and Play Hard or you, too, shall suck" (then they follow it up with Ozzy Osbourne Crazy Train).

I suspect I'm the only one on the board who finds this interesting, I just think it's another example of where the Patriots*** franchise doesn't miss a trick. I mean, you know the players aren't choosing to go out the tunnel to a Latin chant, or at least, I would think that's a reasonable assumption.

Here are the lyrics:

Sors immanis Fate - monstrous et inanis, and empty, rota tu volubilis, you whirling wheel, status malus, you are malevolent, vana salus well-being is vain semper dissolubilis, and always fades to nothing, obumbrata shadowed et velata and veiled michi quoque niteris; you plague me too; nunc per ludum now through the game dorsum nudum I bring my bare back fero tui sceleris. to your villainy. Sors salutis Fate is against me et virtutis in health michi nunc contraria, and virtue, est affectus driven on et defectus and weighted down, semper in angaria. always enslaved. Hac in hora So at this hour sine mora without delay corde pulsum tangite; pluck the vibrating strings; quod per sortem since Fate sternit fortem, strikes down the strong man,
