For example, one of the bubble players for the Bills is Euhus. If a team that needed a TE, such as the Giants, knew the Bills had cut Euhus, they could tailor their roster cuts to leave a spot open for him, and sign him. Generally speaking, the later a team's cuts get reported to the media, the more likely it is there are one or more players they want to quietly slip through to their PS.
